Last year I lived at Lofts 640, which is just outside of CC. its about a mile, mile and a half from CC on Broad st (a couple of blocks from the Philly Inquirer). Its a really nice place. A studio is 1500, i forget how much monthly parking is but its reasonable. the staff there is awesome, always willing to help you with anything. They have a nice little gym, a pool, a jacuzzi, a cyberlounge, and yoga studio. oh and there are a lot of hot chicks there that are always in the gym.

Ok, Langhorne is in Bucks County. Since I am from Bucks County, let me chime in on this one.

A few things you will want to consider...

Commute
From Center City to Langhorne is going to be about 1 to 2 hours depending on traffic and time of travel. I-95N in the morning is a pain in the ***! It backs up every morning in the same places and then there's dumbass people who hit crap on the way to work and it'll make your commute longer then expected. There's also Public Transportation. The R5 and R3 trains run into Langhorne, but depending on how far you work from the train station in Langhorne is also something to consider. You might be walking quite a distance or depending on someone to pick you up to take you to work.

Price
The price difference from living in CC and living in Bucks Co. is quite different. For what you pay in CC, you can get 3X's that in Bucks County. There's lots of nice towns in Bucks Co that are defiantly worth it. Newtown or Yardley are the nicest areas in Bucks Co. I'm from Newtown. Newtown has ZERO crime. Most people don't even lock their doors or cars at night. Seriously.

If your looking at living in CC just for the sheer thrill of living in the Big City, then I guess its worth it. But its not that bad living in Bucks Co. and driving down to Philly on the weekends to party. If you come out here and want a tour, PM me and I'll give you my cell number.

From CC to Langhorne is going to take you a good 2 hours at the max. It'll take you no less then an hour on a normal day.

Ok I have to say that Bucks is safe but Bucks will bore the hell out of you, especially if your from out of town.

Also, I have to disagree with Mifast, sorry Christian, but the majority of traffic on I95 is heading southbound toward Philly during morning rush-hour and northbound during afternoon rush-hour, opposite of where your going. I live in Philly and every 6 months I see my dentist at the Oxford Valley Mall in Langhorne and it takes me between 30-45 mins to get there in the mornings, no lie.

Also parking ain't as bad as say New York and if you really wanted to find a place with parking you can with your budget.

Bottom line, Philly Rocks!

Geesh Keven, Always gotta disagree with me. J/K Bro. I guess never making the commute from Philly to Bucks I wouldn't know what traffic is like. Bucks will probably bore the hell out of you, that's why I spend most of my time in Philly. I live in Mt. Laurel, NJ now...

I enjoy disagreeing with you Christian, lol. No but actually I just can't see a brotha from outta town miss out on what Philly has to offer.
There's nothing wrong with Bucks County if you're from around here like us and know where to go, but chances are Moroccon Mole might end up hanging out in New Hope every weekend should he wind up near Langhorne, lol.
