...the 370Z is now available
I have had a chance to check out the car inside and out, and under the car; but havn't had a chance to drive it yet due to weather and holiday hours. I can't wait to mess around with the Synchro-Rev next week.
If you havn't checked it out yet, head down to your local dealer in the next few days and see the car...you owe it to yourself, the car is really THAT much improved. The steering wheel is from the Maxima along with the inside body panel styling (no more dimpled vynyl). I-key and push-button start is now available in the Z. For all you yellow-lovers, it's BACK!!
The best part...the price. Configure a base 370Z with SPORT package (HUGE brakes, 19" forged rims, and synchro-rev) and report back here what you found
Shameless promotion of the new Z? Yes
I have converted one of you already...there will be others.

JZ, you hav e a monster, it is apples to oranges. I am keeping mine because of the work that is done to it and the fact I still havn't even boosted past 6psi yet...havn't felt BIG power yet
I guess the style is love it or hate it, but I think the styling really makes sense...you gotta see it in person

seems to be a better car all the way around over the 350Z.
The front end is pretty high off the ground, yet it retains the 'zero lift.' I doubt scraping will be an issue at all. Could make big aftermarket front bumpers look odd without matching sideskirts

I stopped by a dealer near me to check one out; and didn't like it much at all.
The proportions just seem wrong very Z4ish... if that makes sense.
Maybe it'll grow on me - and maybe it will stun me when I drive it - but I kind of doubt it.

My local dealer got one last week, I haven't had a chance to go down and check it out (assuming its still there). It is in the show room, so I doubt I'd get to drive it.
Its one of the 7-spd AT.

Back in '02 when it first came out I hated the 350z, thought it looked ugly and hated the fact that it didn't have twin turbos like the Z32. But it grew on me after a few years and bought one in '05. I hated the concept drawings of the 370z but it looks so much nicer in person.
I've seen about 6 in person already, all were either 7AT or showroom models so I haven't been able to test drive one yet.

I DO love the 370, BUT my 'O4 Touring Coupe's just F-I-N-E: Only 19k on it, NO feathering, NO oil-consumption issues, NO cooling system problem, FLAWLESS AT, two weeks out of a tankful, s-m-o-o-t-h engine, s-w-e-e-t exhaust note...Even my wife's jealous of my love affair with the "Z"!

j.arnaldo, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
GOOD NEWS!!!: God has ALREADY had mercy on my soul, UMW! Saved by the good Lord! IF you think for one minute that your blast bothered me, sorry to disappoint you! I've developed an extremely tough hide as a Christian, through the years. And, yes, it is a forum, so you're gonna get opinions/comments which you won't agree with, every now and then. God bless, kiddo!
