I wasn't going to say anything about this comment because I don't want any problems on here, but the members of the UConn Car Club are not douchebags, Jon. We go through a lot every year with the University to put on a quality show for you, and really appreciate your attendance. We aim to accommodate all those who enter in a fair manner. Our 'official' UC3 rule is first come, first serve, without saving spots. We've had instances in the past where a club sections off spots for people who are 'on their way' but never show, or people at the gate wondering why they can't park in a prime open parking spot (because it has been 'saved'). This is why we put the rule into effect. With that said, if people out of the group end up saving a spot for you, it personally doesn't bother me, as I appreciate you coming, and would like to see your car with the rest.

 

I don't think he meant any harm by it, he probably didn't even know that the car club would be controlling the parking and registration. I admit I wasn't sure who it would be, the uconn pd, some hired guys from one of those parking companies, coulda been anybody for all I knew

I think he was just saying how some people who get hired don't really care and can get on a power trip and I could see that happening at some shows. Regardless I'm looking forward to a great show tomorrow, just got out of work I'm gonna be ***** tired See you guys there, -Mat

 

I'm texting Larry to let him know Jon's gonna be all set. I actually came on here to reread what Jon said because I was thinking about it and felt like he didn't mean anything by it, either. Some of the UC3 people are my friends, so that's why I probably read it wrong. Besides, I'm one of em too! haha

fun show. some pretty nice cars showed up. Some rice did too, and wayyy to many subies. but good show all around.

 

I saw you headed back to Stamford on RT15 with 2 G's.. i was on the opposite side .. you passed me after exit 58 .. around 5 pm

 

Yeah, that was Larry@Showtime, CT350G and I. The ride home was brutal.

nah i was in the Altima Coupe.. the Z is ironically on that same exit i passed you at in Woodbridge at the body shop..

why was the ride home brutal? traffic looked like it was moving pretty nice
