I almost just crashed my Z 
took out all plastics, spare, jack, radio, speakers, floor mats, cubby space, center console, floor mats, door panels, windows... ya the windows. , rear windshield wiper, drained not needed fluids. and a few others.. go from 3rd to 4th not even hard (I shift at 2k) (5k-redline when with you guys.) and spun out of control. Feels like a 3.5 in a civic body

Half hour ago. Was bored all day so put the Z on a diet. Would this have anything to do with having no traction control being a base? I cant see myself doing another run like this.
Well you did remove a fair amount of weight, but not enough to make the car uncontrolable. Being that you have a base, you dont have a Limited-Slip rear, so Im not sure why you spun... That why Nissan didnt give the cars without Traction Control a limited slip to prevent spin outs. (Only 1 wheel powered at a time)
Also going from 3rd to 4th, how hard were you accelerating, and was it in a straight line?
