Will there be a meeting place for the Boston area cars before heading out west? It looks like we would need to leave Boston around 4:30/5am to get to Springfield between 6 and 6:30.

 

Firinn. I spun out into a guard rail going a little too fast on an off ramp. no one else around, no one saw. Car is already gone and beginning repairs. coming back better and badder. MOST IMPORTANTLY, for hitting a guard rail at 30+ mph w/ no seatbelt on (dumb) i have on small scratch on my hand. I'm pretty damn lucky. I'll be on the next run.

Are other makes and models allowed? Yuppie Racing here in Boston may be interested, since we have a rather quiet weekend. The picture you posted of the twisty mountain roads is hard to pass up, and the weather is looking really nice. I have to agree that 4:30/5 AM is bit too early for the Boston folks...hmmm.

 

Anyone is always welcomed. I just ask the they be responsible drivers. I also understand that it is early for those driving a distance, but I want to ensure we are on the Run with the least amount of traffic possible.

The point of driving is to keep the car ON the road.

 

With that being said, lets make sure we are all driving safety, esp on the Run. No passing at all. Drive at a safe pace, and within your limits. More details to come on that morning.
