I'm sorry for the delay in putting a MA meet together, but I had an emergency on the home front that had to be dealt with. Fortunately, things have turned out for the best so I am ready to start the planning for a Fall meet again.

As it stands right now the best date I can see is October 11th which is a Saturday. The date will also work well as I know some people that are coming from out of state/country to go to the National Z convention that ends on October 10th.

Right now it's tentative for Cape Cod, but I am open to anything. I have not looked at a map to find a good drive, but I'm sure we can come up with something interesting along the ocean and surrounding forests. The leaves will be changing but I'm not sure how far along the Cape will be as compared to NH.

In any event ANY feedback would really be appreciated. Thanks.

Hopefully I can somehow get down there to my first Z meet.

 

Not sure if I can make it just yet...I have a paper due the Monday after that, but I may be able finish it well in advance of 10/11. I'll throw another post up when I know for sure....

Hmmm, early feedback doesn't look so good. Alternatively, there is a meet up in Maine of G35s that are looking for some 350Zs that could be good: FreshAlloy Meet in Maine. Steve and Jeff (and anyone else) would that work for you?

Again I'm open to any suggestions, I just wanted to have at least one more get together before the winter.

I mentioned to Roger that my son's last two baseball games are the 11th but if there is a CT caravan heading up I may just leave after the first game which will end around 11:00 AM or I'll try to get another assistant coach to take my spot.

Just in , hope you get it . Going to Convention Friday , so had to trade off for Saturday . Now have to take stepson to his upcoming prep school . Sorry and as I mentioned I can't do the 4th either due to my college alumni lunch up in Maine . Just heard about the group in Ogunquit . That may be a possibility for you guys .

Roger, I'm interested in going. I haven't been to the cape in over 15 years. I might even stay over to Sunday if you can recommend a few places to stay.

 

I just checked the FreshAlloy.com (G35) site and it seems that "DaveC" feels that nobody is interested in their meet from my350z.com. I may consider it if Roger is unable to hold this one. Ogunquit is quite nice this time of the year. I was just up there on vacation 2 weeks ago. It takes about 3 hours from the Hartford area to get there. They are holding it on Saturday the 11th at the Norseman hotel which is right by the water.

 

Not sure that there is enough interest from MA to get a caravan to go to ME but if there is and the cape meet falls through then I'd be in for the drive to ME.

 

Yesterday, we (my wife and myself) discovered that the problem that we thought had gone away has unfortunately raised it ugly head higher. Therefore, due to the amount of time and energy that will be required, I will have to put the Cape Cod meet on hold indefinitely. I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused anyone.

That said, I posted a message this morning on the fresh alloy site thread on the Maine meet and their response has been extremely positive (read their posts after my post to see how they feel about the Z). I will be trying to attend as well, as my wife knows how much I like these meets and insists that I go. BTW, I kind of went out on a limb and promised them a supercharged Z, so hopefully we can get someone up there with one. Otherwise I'll just get a bunch of tin foil, tin cans, rubber hoses, etc and fake it! .
