"Brake Fluids
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Thanks to Dave Zeckhausen :
Lets look at what the DOT ratings mean. The table below shows the MINIMUM wet and dry boiling points for DOT 2, 3, 4, and 5 brake fluid in degrees fahrenheit.
DOT 2 DOT 3 DOT 4 DOT 5
Dry Boiling point 374 401 446 500
Wet boiling point 284 311 356
The DOT 2 spec is for drum brakes and is obsolete. If you have any DOT 2 in your garage, throw it away! DOT 5 is for silicone brake fluid. Silicone brake fluid (DOT 5) should be avoided because it is not compatible with regular brake fluid, it is hard to pour without introducing bubbles and thus results in soft pedal feel, and moisture still gets into your system and will pool in low areas like your calipers and encourage rapid corrosion. STAY AWAY!
That leaves DOT 3 and DOT 4 fluids. These fluids are compatible with each other and may be interchanged or mixed with no ill effects. "
I don't know what this means for your specific application but idk is a bleed/refill in your future tonight?

I gave Brandon a call and left a message.
Quick question, I installed my new BBK, and also put in DOT 5 Fluid. Pedal feels soft at a stop, but resposive when on the move. Is this ok? I am switching to Motul DOT 4 on Monday, but I am unsure if it ok to run DOT 5 tomorrow...

I got my TBK(Tiny Brake Kit) supplies coming in soon.
Figure I will beat these up and then after this run will replace rotors and pads.
Ended up getting EBC RedStuff this time.

WTF should I dooo?????? Call me if you can, I wont be online for awhile.
I dont like the soft pedal... I will flush it after the run... Im just going to take it easy (riiight)
My bad I woulda hit you up but I headed out after I was online to my buddies bbq. Yeah man you will be ok, the soft pedal would freak me out too but it seems that the warning is leaning more towards it being corrosive. Flush it out and refill with the new fluids asap. If it gets wierd on you tomorrow though definitely back off, especially if there will be bubbles you don't want anything happening at the wrong time it could be trouble.
Some of the tape securing my fantastic mount has come off from the heat these past couple days and I will need to do some fixing up in the AM. I'm in windsor so I'll try and be at your place at 5:30 but if it looks like it's not gonna happen I'll call you and just head up 91 from my place.

Unbelievable ride today guys. I am def in for future rides. Aside from 5-0, that is exactly how a cruise is supposed to be done. Adrian, Alaina and the others who put in the time, AWESOME JOB.
Videos might take a couple days to get them all up. Got about 30 clips to go through. I can only flip them one by one using windows.
Im going to start going through some and post them to my youTube account. When i post them on youtube i'll update here too.
