23 days left to wait. Still no sign of the guy who hit me. Geico told me once 30 days have passed in total, they will make their own claim/decision.

 

Because the old man lives near me, I drove past where he last parked his car...and it hasn't moved in the past 7 days. He parked it Tuesday night after he hit me, it started snowing. I visited it days later and it was still there, covered in snow, untouched. I just passed by it again today and it hasn't moved...in a way, I'm kinda worried. The guy was in bad shape and really old. He lives in an apartment building, and I don't doubt he lives by himself.

I hope the reason why he isn't answering is because he went on a vacation somewhere...but another part of me really hopes that he hasn't passed away and has yet to be found.

 

Hopefully geico is reasonable but normally in accident from front end damage vehicle is at fault. If he had hit your rear end then it is totally his fault. That is why it is good to have police report.

 

Condition is too icy out for the meet hopefully it is better next week.

 

Tony, he DID hit my rear. He rear-ended me. I realized in my original post I wrote "backed in to me". I meant he rear-ended me, the damage is the rear bumper.

The meet is off this week but if the meet is on next Wed I'll pm you. The address is: 55 Northern Blvd, Great Neck, NY - It's the parking lot directly behind Starbucks and AT&T. It's a huge lot and it is not visible to the police when they drive by, so they can't see us. Just one notice if you're really slammed: enter from the AT&T entrance, because the Starbucks entrance may cause some of you to scrape.

Nah, I have an appointment setup at C2 in College Point to meet the Geico adjuster there. They're going to get back to me with the exact day, but it's likely Thursday or Friday.

 

Today is the perfect weather for a meet hopefully wed will nice too. Very slim chance according to the weather channel.

It actually might be good! Rain is only supposed to be morning showers and clear up before lunch time! =)

Let's hope so! It's gonna be like 40+. I'll come out, but I won't be with the Z, I'm bringing the Audi out. Hopefully tomorrow it gets dropped off and fixed. ='(
