Back when I had the 350z the Bose unit was replaced underwarranty also among other several flaws. I was questioning Japanese quality

 

Unfortunately I'm out of warranty. Grrr. I turned on the SAT radio for now. I need to get a new unit ASAP.

 

 

 

 

Bose is not a japanese company.

 

The headunit is Clarion, actually, not Bose. Clarion is Japanese. =D

But, I still blame Nissan for outsourcing and ordering such a cheap and sh*tty unit for the car. The manufacturer of the vehicle controls quality of the products they've outsourced. The Bose in my Audi is easily one of the best audio systems you'll ever hear in any car. The Bose in our Zs, is generic and just barely acceptable.

This is even more of reason to go with after market head unit.

 

I'm just worried somebody will steal it and f*ck up the rest of my car in the process (destroyed dash, broken windows, damaged door, etc). =(

 

My Clk55 has Bose with 10speakers cd changer. Sounds so much better then the 350zs Bose. But my C63 has Harmon Kardon with 14speakers 6cd changer. The best sounding factory system

 

These days they don't steal your stereo anymore just your whole car.


BTW Mark those came out pretty good considering low lighting.

Ahahah, yeah. Amazing isn't it? Time flies.

 

The address is: 55 Northern Blvd, Great Neck, NY - It's the parking lot directly behind Starbucks and AT&T. It's a huge lot and it is not visible to the police when they drive by, so they can't see us. Just one notice if you're really slammed: enter from the AT&T entrance, because the Starbucks entrance may cause some of you to scrape.
