Never plan a cruise to the beach (any beach) on a holiday weekend!!! The traffic will separate us and frustrate us. Then when we get where we're going, there will be no parking. Perhaps a cruise to a park or BBQ area away from the beaches would be better.

Many folks work on Saturday... So unless the cruise is after 5:00 PM, they won't be able to make it.

The rain date is what did me in... I was all set to go on the original date. I knew the week after would be iffy.

only thing about the 6th is big corvette meet in lbi that day which i dont have a problem with but i know others will...or is the corvette meet on the saturday before? if it is the 6th works

I'd probably be down. I'm getting my short shifter in today, and I need to get a new air filter. But this will all be done by this weekend, so I'm way down. Where you want to meet up at?

 

I'd like to do this but want a final date on it so I can plan it out...Sunday is always better than Saturday, as a lot of people work Saturdays...Also, along what route or central point will all cars meet before cruising to destination point? This will be awesome if we can get a big turn out.

 

Well, we could have one this Sunday? Any meeting point is fine with me, I live in Wildwood. As for routes, I'm not too familiar with NJ at all. I moved here in July, and I'm leaving in about two weeks, so I really would like to see some places that I haven't been!

Let me know what you guys think? I'm pretty much down for anything as long as I get my car fixed by this weekend.

 

So you guys are definitely doing this sunday? it'll probably be a last min decision if i can go or not. Still not sure. Being that it's a holiday weekend the traffic coming back north is going to be horrible i bet

Not on Sunday I don't think. Not many people have work Monday. Monday's traffic will be terrible.
