Speaking of Meets...
April is right around the corner, and now is a good time than ever to plan our opening meet. In the past, we planned this around the UConn show (April 15th) and we can do this again to keep tradition. Last year we all went out to Sage Park in Berlin, and had a good turnout. We joined "forces" with the BMW crew as a former member (still lurks around here) has moved to that group. I would like to get that group together again as it was a good time to meet new people and see what the German enthusiasts do to their whips. Last season, we also had some meets with some of the local CT Subie guys (towards end of summer / begining of Fall). They were all great and welcomed us into their weekly meets. They have expressed interest in having us join in on their meets. As we all know, they are well organized group so getting them involved shouldn’t be an issue if everyone is cool with that.
Let’s throw some ideas out and set a day by the end of this month. If nothing is set, I will throw a date out there and just have it be (at the end of the day it’s almost impossible to appease everyone, so all we can do is try to get the best turnout as we can).
Let’s get the 2012 season off on a good note.

Zing, myself and a few other CT Altimas & Sentras were talking about meeting up and going to the Uconn meet on the 15th. It'd be nice to cruise in with some other nissan/infiniti's.
def agreeing with phil on this one I was alone in the back lot at the uconn show last year with a couple mustangs (stock silver z vert). I'd love to meet up or even just plan it so there is a spot by some other nissans this year for me. Me and Phil are trying to organize the b15u sentra/altima crew so we get a decent turnout of nissans. I also own a SR20 B15 Sentra and go on b15u and sr20forum I'll try to gauge interest on the sr20 forum. Also anyone planning on going to the CCSU show?

If there is interest I'll join. I would like to make this fair warning though, that there is a Mtn Run scheduled for Sat (April 14th) and the rain date is the 15th (same day as UConn). So if it ends up raining, there isn't going to be a good turn-out again this year. What I wanted to do was set-up a definite meet the following Sunday (April 22nd), and invite some of the BMW guys (they met with our opening meet last year as we had some former members turn to the
side), the Z, G, Altima, Sentra, and Subie guys. I'll set up a different thread by the end of the month for these details as I want this to be primarly a Nissan event (the subie guys have always welcomed any Nissans to their events so it's only fair we do it back to them).
I can tell you this, we had an impromptu meet about a month back. The sentra and altima guys are dead serious about having a CT Nissan scene. We showed up in terrible wet and cold weather and still had a good time. 3 Altimas and 6 Sentras. We now have 11to CT members on the FB group page and everyone is staying close. We'd all like that number to grow and include all platforms from the Nissan/Infiniti family. It'd be nice to show the Subies, Honda's, and VW guys we're here. It'd also be nice to have a monthly meet for all of us and attend shows as a group.
And Zing, I'm having a few guys over on the 4th here in enfield to do some suspension work. If your interested, swing by and say hello. I'm over on Pearl St south of the enfield/suffield bridge.

Not really sure as far as what time i'll be there. I'm trying to organize my local buddies that I usually go to shows with now (2 mustangs, a tib and a RHD Pulsar GTI-R). Anyways im over in norwich so if anyone wanted to meet up in franklin area to ride up id be cool with that for the uconn show and as far as the 22nd thats the CCSU show that we could show up in force at if you were all down with that idea? Also got two b13 SR20 guys on board that are going to try to make these shows.

second thing, not sure if my G will be on the road by the 4th. It all depends on the weather and weather theres any salt on the roads (again i'm a sissy and don't want any salt on my car). Navy is from Ellington and i'm not sure if his car will be ready by then but i'm sure he would swing by too along with Omega which is down in Manchester.

Can you confirm that the CCSU show is said date? I don't think the Z / G group has ever "invaded" this show. I wanna say theres a few of "us" that do show up to this show. I for one have never been.
Yea agree with the sissy part I wont drive my ZR in rain or snow, I do how ever drive when its nice out even in winter just have my stupid miro rep rims on.
As for the CCSU show they changed it now its Saturday April 21st 10am-3pm in CCSU student center parking lot, 1615 stanley street, New Britain CT. Its on failbook as 12th annual C3 Spring car show I'll put the link on when I get home.

thanks for the invite but we baby our cars a little too well when it comes to cold...today and snow made it even worse
I appreciate the invite, can you try to set something up for the end of March or so?
Side Note: Some of the subie guys have extended their offer to join them @ their weekly meets. They have been switching it up between Enfield and Manchester
