CT Weekly Meets
So i got pulled over today for no license plate...
at the same time got nabbed for my tint-
250$ fine
SO here is the story
i bought my z from NJ 20 days ago. While there i used my insurance and CT license to get a 20 day Non resident NJ temp.
I then put it in my front windshield bc the back was tinted so dark.
1st time i got pulled over-
"Good afternoon Sir, where is your license plate?"
" i have a NJ temp here in my front windshield."
"Oh ok, please put that in your back window. Thanks have a good day."
2nd time - similar story -
3rd time i got pulled over at Uconn on spring weekend.
"Sir you do not have a license plate visible. I am going to give you a ticket. I then explained what had happened with the previous officers and she wrote me a written warning for not showing my plate and told me to write the TEMP plate number on cardboard and put it in the back where the license plate goes. SO i did.
4th time. Tonight at 8:00 PM on my way back from the DMV. i was not able to regestir my vechile because i forgot to pay my town taxes. SO i am driving home and i get pulled over.
The officer tells me the plate has to be in the back window. I then singal to him that it was. I showed him the written warning from the other officer and told him i was driving back from the DMV. He told me that the window tint was to dark and that he could not see the plate.
The tint measures at 10% on the front windows so i get a ticket for that. He then writes me a ticket for not having plates.
But, i don't understand how he can do that. THe temp was legal and in the proper place. It's not my business if he can see it or not! Plus i can Legally tint my back window as dark as i want!!

Stillen Headers, Stillen HFC's, 3.12 pulley.. all needs to be retuned.
Also just installed my Tein basic coilovers & Ichiba F/R camber.
Just take it to court and show all your documentation.. also prob want to remove the dark tint before court date.
