Hello all,

We are having our second annual picnic at FDR State Park, on Saturday, August 28, 2010. We already reserved the picnic area, Section 6B, for our event. I will be there at about 9 am. Our event will "officially" begin at 10 am and run until 5 pm, or later. There is a huge pool at the park, separate entrance, (children under 10 - $1, all others - $2). The fee to bring a car into the park is $8.

Both State Park are a multi use facility. Children's playgrounds, basketball courts, trails for biking and hiking...so these are a family approved Z gathering.

We will start grilling @ 11:30am. We plan on roping off an area for all the Z cars so come before noon if you would like to park as a group.

Just to be a little more specific as to what NYZCC will provide:

Charcoal, lighter fluid, plates, napkins and condiments.

What someone should bring:

Meat/ veggies/ drinks / beans etc...

You are asked to bring yourself (family is encouraged), Z (if your Z can't make it come anyway) and food/drinks to be shared by everyone. There are grills in the park, so we shall be making our own food.......hot dogs, hamburgers and anything else we can grill.
