Honestly couldn't tell ya.. Prolly just one of those things where cops know there is a massive gathering going on so they plan to show up. They do it in Hartford on Wednesday nights when New England Cycle Center hosts bike nights. It's always funny to watch bikes get loaded up in a box truck because some ******* hasn't renewed his reg or doesn't actually have a bike endorsement.

If I find out more I'll let you know. The rumor I've been hearing today is they are trying to get Mohegan to let them do it there as they have been very friendly to car shows in the past blocking off entire garages and such.

I've herd there is a pretty small M3 meet that goes on at TGIFridays on Saturday nights. You should all go crash it.

There will also be Cars & coffee starting up again in a few weeks in Glastonburry

 

Maybe we just skip the UConn meet, to avoid any potential "issues"... It's one thing to drive around knowing the risk of having illegal items and being caught, but it's another to walk into something knowing the cops are looking for that sort of thing. It's just been a Z G CT tradition to start off the car season here. I wouldnt mind doing Sage Park afternoon time, then potentially meet up with the M3 crew...

 

Yeah I hear ya on the tradition thing. I used to be big in to the TunerNetwork Mohegan meets years ago. Always were a great time once a month but they fell apart horribly.

I just herd back the Uconn show will be going on on April 9th in the same lot as of now but as you said, why walk into a trap? I doubt we're gonna be spending the money to set up a booth.

We are however going to WickedBigMeet which should be a good time.... minus the million subbies.
