Thumbs up RDZ Motorsports

Just figured I would let you guys know about my experience at RDZ Motorsports.

Brief Background on my situation.

Now let me explain on how this is one of the first times in my life that I have had a shop do work for me since I have a vast background with mechanics and fabrication. The countless horror stories that surround almost every shop has always left a terrible taste in my mouth and I easily came to my own conclusion that they are in fact all the same...Thieves/Liars

So, I had a destroyed VLSD in my newly acquired 03 Track and that's one thing I have never really had any experience with so my hunt began ! I came across a Carbonetics LSD on here that "needed bearings" I called around to several different Trans shops and everyone had the same reply "I can't do it" Just as I was losing all hope I called Jerry's Transmission of Danbury and this elderly dude said "Well why don't you take it to RDZ ? They specialize in Z/G chassis cars" After a quick conversation I found out that this place was 4 miles from my house and from what Jerry told me they had a great wrap.
So I called them up and spoke to Rich he came across as extremely honest and was all for getting me in and getting me back to 100% I went down the next day and dropped the newly acquired LSD with the bearings etc. I received a horrific phone call a few hours later saying that the LSD was toast and so was everything else "I later went down and no ******** in all my years I have never seen such a F'd assembly in my life" We threw some ideas around about pulling my lsd out and fixing my current setup since this one was far to gone "even the pinion was sheered !" After a few hours of throwing ideas around and making some phone calls I was begging to lose faith. Eric quickly disassembled the Carbonetics and said it could be "salvaged" but nothing else. So I left my car thinking it would be a week or so before he rebuilt the lsd and everything.
Rich gave me a call the next day saying he would have it ready by the end of the day ! I was a bit excited so I road my 1125r over to shop to drop off the spl bushings and was planning on leaving but these guys make you feel at home. They invited me in with open arms and even ordered some lunch. A few hours later we had the bushings in and everything back together. Now in total I would say between the two days they had at least 8 hours on my diff and bushings but he stuck by his word and charged me what he originally quoted me, Gave me a F'n awesome T shirt a few stickers and Scott the other owner loved my bike so much he told me I could leave it in the showroom and take the Z home.

On top of the shop being local and a z/g specialty shop my experience was incredible and would recommend anyone on the east coast to go out of your way to use them ! I know you guys don't know me for **** but trust me when I say this RDZ Motorsports is literally a one stop shop for everything Z/G related.

Every single person who works at RDZ owns a Z or 2

Glad we could help you out and don't worry we'll keep the bike safe until your return.

Don't forget to stop by for the FREE Up Rev upload test drive. Wed. the 12th of Oct. 6PM at the shop.

I'm sure Rich can run off a list but I was looking over a really nice Momentum kit they did the other day and it looks awesome and the owner loves every second of it.

tougelabs- i tried to buy that diff a while back and he came to my shop in CT. I took my stock diff out the night before, and was suppossed to swap diffs plus cash. When he got there i started taking that diff out of his car and when i was almost done i realized the pinion bearings had a crap load of play and i told him no way. He bought that car from cali and it was tracked with the JWT kit a **** load.

Sorry i wasnt on here much at the time and didn't see him post for a while so i didnt think he was going to sell it.
