R/T tuning
Hey all the philly area folks just wanted to give a quick review in regards to R/T tuning located in Lansdale. I went here in regards to and alignment that was needed after coil overs, toe arms and camber arms were installed. The coil overs were fortune auto 500 and so far they are working great.
Well first I wish to say that I went with their $200 package that was meant for anyone that installed the items I have and also includes the adjustment of firmness as well as adjusting ride height. when I got their they have you write down what you have installed and what specifications you are looking for. I'm do not track my car and mainly just drive it around town. I know I did not want it dropped to the ground so I mentioned that and they used that information to figure out the best settings. Anyway after they got started they called me and informed me that the car was too low in the rear and that if I wanted to get the most optimal suspension setting i needed to raise it bout 3/4 of an inch. It felt good that they called me and asked me what I would prefer and in turn informed them that if they needed to raise it a 1/2-3/4 that would be ok with me.
All in all the entire process took about 2.5 hrs and at the end they give you a print out with a before and after which you can see below as well. Also they made somme recommendations if I want to go lower what I can do so it stays in spec and also they informed me that in the future it might be worth getting adjustable arms for the front, which I did think I would need but guess I was incorrect.
all said and done the service there so far was professional and everyone seems to have a good understanding our cars as well as other imports. I would recommend going there to anyone and I will be going back for anything my brother and I cannot tackle on our own. Oh almost forgot they were all kind enough to provide a military discount of 10% which is always a huge plus.
