I was figuring the rest stop after Exit 11 (just after where the express and local lanes combine) since this will allow for people coming via the Parkway to get to the same rest stop with ease.
Then that will be closer to exit 10 I believe..Does anyone from NJ know the exact location and name of the rest stop on the South bound side??

You're thinking of the Joyce Kilmer rest area, it's between exits 8A and 9 I believe.
The Grover Clevland is the one just north of exit 11.

Anyone coming from directly east of ATCO, like going to take 70W?

Yes, that's the one (Joyce Kilmer rest area). This is where we should set up another meeting point.

Your on the list.

I sent AndyB an email about coming to the meet and I'm waiting to hear back. So hopefully you won't be the only roadster.

I didn't know you lived so close. I live near williamstown. themyst I think so many people are amped up for this meet, because the winter has been so bad, with snow ice and temp below freezing. I know i haven't driven my car in over a month because of the weather, and road conditions.

That might not be a good idea since I hear the LI Motorsports park isn't opening this year. Looks like the old people home won out...

Looks like we'll have to get an early start in Connecticut as ATCO opens at 9:00 AM and daking350 feels we should get there no later than 10:00 AM.

As a result, this is what I'm thinking:
Cromwell, CT caravan to leave Mobil at 6:00 AM.

Arrive at Stamford rest stop a little after 7:00 AM and head out of there at 7:15-7:30 AM.

Arrive at ATX by 8:00 AM and plan to leave there by 8:10 AM. We might have to pick up 1 or 2 more caravans along the way but we will just zoom in to those rest stops and have everyone jump in their cars immediately and head out.

I may meet you guys around 14A on the NJTPK and not go to ATX..Mike will beat ATX so you guys can meet up there with him and pick me up along the way...I am sure we will pick up some stragglers on the NJTPK along the way...

As a result, this is what I'm thinking: I will not be getting any sleep on Saturday night and I will be sitting at a Mass Pike rest stop at 4 AM by myself...

Rog, I was thinking of you when I posted the time but I can't see how I could start later and make it to all the stops on time. Do you think it'll take you 2 hours to get to the Mobil? The exit is the same one you took for the Connecticut meet.

Also, you're welcome to stay over our house Saturday night as we have a spare bedroom.
