New Jersey Motorsports Park - Track with COM Sports Car Club July 18-19
COM Sports Car Club of New England is hosting an event at New Jersey Motorsports Mark, Lightning on July 18-19.
This is a competitive event with the optional time-trial/time-attack run on the afternoon of day 2. Novice and experienced drivers are welcome alike. All novice drivers will be assigned instructors for one or both days as needed.
Cost for the event is $225 for one day or $425 for both days, and folks that have never ran with us are eligible for the new member $100 discount!
So far we have < 40 drivers registered so it is forecast that we will get a lot of track time!

Go ahead and call me an @$$-hole for ask'n but I just looked at the track, is there anywhere for spectators to be? I would just like to view from a-far, and make judgements about others with no previous knowledge.....I may even send a txt to vote for my favorite racer.
Admission is free, I am checking if there is a guest list requirement (pretty sure there is not, just sign the waiver at the gate).
Spectators are welcome, you can visit us in the pits and comment on the general poor condition of our cars or heckle from afar. Not sure what the best viewing location is, there is a building at start finish which you may or may not have access to, and there is the bridge between turns 6 & 7 that is usually entertaining as turn 7 is a common corner to mess up and spin off. There is a dirt road that gives you access to the viewing area around the bottom half.
The racer with the least number of votes will have to race a redneck at the end of the day, and if they lose they will be voted off the island.
