Hello fellow Jerseyites! For those of you in central and south Jersey, I am organizing a caravan to drive up to Long Island on Sunday. The weather should be nice and the meet should be awesome.. Anyway post here if you want to follow up and where you are coming from and then I will see where the best place to meet is. We could possibly have 2 stops, 1 in NJ and one in Staten Island or Brooklyn. The trip from say exit 11 on the turnpike should only be 1-1.5 hours.....

Hey where you feel like meeting, I'm down for wherever. What time does it start by? So we can plan what time to leave by.

 

The meet kinda starts around 11. I was thinking of meeting up on the turnpike at the rest area by exit 11 at 9:30. Its a solid hour from there with no traffic....

exit 11 is to far south for me, so maybe i just sit on the side of the tpk with the 4-ways on till i see you guys commin. If anyone has any ideas of doing something safer im down.

a bunch of us are meeting on long island at the roosevelt feild mall. i mean like 40 of us (from what i hear). u guys should meet up. then we are all going to tobay from there. u might as well its on the way. pm me ill give you directions if u want.

 

What time are we meeting up in Roosevelt Field? And what part of the mall?

 

Jay, i might be trying to hit up the track this weekend but if i dont ill be down sounds like a nice drive....

 

The track is going to be booty this weekend, sat is honda day and sunday is break your drag car day! Wait till next week, their is another import only race.... And someone please post directions to roosevelt field. From central Jersey I nwas planning on going through Staten Island to the Belt parkway to the southern state up to the beach. How far out of the way is it if I cut to the LIE, I am not that familiar with LI...

its already friday, and i still have no clue whats going on. Where are we meeting and what time. I get alittle lost sometimes so i just wanna make sure, that i dont end up somewhere wrong.

I am going to arrange for 2 places depending on where you live. For those of us in central and south jersey, I think the rest area on the turnpike by exit 11 is a good first place, and probably around 9:30 then we will take the turnpike to exit 13 and get on the SI expressway and take it to Brooklyn. I am thinking about meeting in Brooklyn at that little beach/park on the right after you get on the Belt parkway. Then we will take the belt all the way untill it turns into the southern state, From there I'm lost so we will just have to follow mapquest..... Saturday night I will post exact meeting times and locations. If anyone has a better idea, then let me know... Also for you that are meeting up in LI, how far is that from where I'll be????

lemieux, could you please give me an exact address of where you are meeting up in LI. I will be coming from North Jersey so it makes no sense to me to drive south on turnpike and than go back. thanks.

 

Ok sounds like were getting somehwere, I'll be at the rest stop next to exit 11 on the turnpike at 9:30. I will be showing up with my brother and his Z. Also I guess Mike is meeting us there also. But from there I guess Jason is the tour guide so thats the plan so far.

The rest area is the Grover Cleveland Service Area which is located between exit 11 and 12 on the Northbound side.. We will confirm the time of 9:30 as of now. I would like to leave their at 9:30 so try and get there by 9:20 or so.... My cell # is 732.735.0516 for those of you who want to prank me

I don't know yet what i'll be doing.. but i'm not sure I'll be meeting you guys that far down. I'm coming from up north so meeting somewhere towards exit 13 is better or maybe even in staten island.

 

Mike, it would be great to cruise up together like the old days but it makes better sense for you to over the GW and go that way, unless you want to meet up in SI somewhere... Also, is Narvin going? Mike wants to talk to him about some projects......

 

Yea exit 13 is closer for me to I'm just tryin to make this easier I'll be gettin on the turnpike at the end of 78 by Newark, 13 is bascically right there. I can meet up somewhere around there if u want.
