Auburn, WA
hey guys i used to live in Auburn Washington but now i live in the DC area of the east coast. the car scene is crazy here and really big with Zs and nissan ingeneral. i used to work at fife nissan also, im just curious if anyone is from the Auburn are or maybe even works at fife nissan.
I'm in Kent -- I bought my Z at Auburn Nissan. We've got a few Zs around here, but not many people want to play in the rain. I've got a friend with a brickyard just down the street, so we do stuff periodically. Just need an idea and some willingness to do something!
There aren't any formal clubs I know of. As you can see in this forum, get-togethers are sporadic and informal. As it turns out, I don't have much extra time for them, since I autocross regularly.
There is a formal Z club for Washington, it's just not 350z specific, it's just all Zs. We just had our christmas party last saturday. More info can be found here: www.zccw.org

I read your post and something sorta clicked. Since you, I and BACutler are part of BEAC and autoX regularly, I'm thinking that maybe next year we could have a "NW 350Z get together" at one of the BEAC practice days. Since anyone is welcomed to come out to watch. Plus since we're allowed 2 guests each, 6 other 350Z guys can join us that interested in autoX-ing their Z's.
It's just a thought. I guess input from you and BACutler (and any other BEAC person) is neccesary. Your thoughts?

Coooooool........
Let's see if BACulter is on board w/ the plan. If so then I'll start a new thread on the NW forum to see who's interested.
We probably won't get a practice day until Feb. (possibly Jan 29th - the day before the UWFSAE Slush Event #1) but I'll be at the BEAC meetings to volunteer as the focal of the event when the next avalible practice day that comes up.
We'd probably need a month to cordinate this anyways.

I'm here in Kent, WA also (East Hill area). I've never attended any Z events but I'd love to check one out. My wife and I have only had our Z a few months now, and we're actually thinking of moving to Hawaii in the Summer.

Thanks. It's a pain to keep clean but I love Black cars. I've only had it about 2 months.
