Looking for a few good Autocrossers
Okay folks, the official word is out. On Saturday April 23rd, BEAC will be holding another AutoX practice day. Between BA Cutler and I we have 3 avalible guest spots (More if Lateapex can make it?). Rahtok and DrVolkl; you guys have priority since you came last time, if you can make it respond to this post or e-mail me.
Who's interesting in joining us for AutoX practice?

Have fun this weekend!
We (Oregon Region) are doing a novice school on Saturday (I'm working at the event), and our third event on Sunday (my first in the Z), and I'm co-chairing the Sunday event.

Anothe practice day and another day of some pretty good times (course times and just hang'n out w/ car guys & gals).
I wasn't crazy about this course. Those 2 spots in the AM that were put in to intentionally slow us down ended up just frustrating me. The PM was way better but that first part still didn't feel very good. Alright, alright... I gotta stop my belly-aching. Since I'm finiding that I like to live to put the as much power down as I can, as often as I can this couse wasn't to my liking. But it showed me where my weaknesses were. It was a good technical course, I need to just sharpen up my skillZ.
The convoy going up was cool. Bring up the rear I could see the reactions of some of the folks as the pointed and stared. It'd be nice to do what Rahtok suggested and maybe do a Rainer drive sometime this year.
Overall another great day w/ some good folks. Hope you guys can make it to the next one and if DrVolkl becomes a BEAC member then the more, the merrier.
Rahtok, I'm looking forward to seeing that video. Cryptic, BKMC and MadMax; it was good to meet you guys and put faces to the names, I hope ya'll had a good time. MadMax; I hope your Z comes soon and you can join us in the near future.

That was a lot of fun. I do hope my Z comes here quicker but from what I understand it will be sometimes in July. It was really nice to meet everyone! I will post the pictures from the practice later today or tomorrow.
Looking forward to seeing some. I think I did some damn fine camera work for ya Brian!
I also grabbed a couple of the other cars so you could compare yourself to them. Namely, the S2000, the stang and that Porsche, he was good.

BA Cutler and I took 1st and 2nd place respectively at the WWSCC event on Sunday (.vs two S2000s and one RX-7 Turbo). It was a 350Z one-two. We got to take home trophies (ie: UWFSAE t-shirts).
The view from the lead car was pretty cool as well. Saturday's course got "Miata-ized"... couldn't get the Z to articulate. Sunday's course was sweet. Watching Ron work that 968 was impressive, both days. Looking for more opportunities to put the finishing touches on this set of tires... ready to move on to the other set of S04s... or bail on them and buy a set of 710s or S05s. Great fun, had MadMax onboard on Saturday, hope you enjoyed the ride.

Oh yea man, that was totally sweet. If I had any doubts before about Z's abilities on the autoX course now I am completely convinced. I mean in the stock form + tires and shocks it felt really stable on the course and of course it is still awesome for street cruising.

That is the same car that was the last non-S2000 to win BS -- before Stephen got a hold of it and improved it (it won pretty much stock).
