Default Off-season activities

The motorsports season has pretty much come to an end. The roads are gonna be wet and the traffic heavy over the next few months. I’m getting kinda edgy as I need to find an outlet for my “urges”. It seems that this same “illness” is going around as I’ve heard from some of you that you’re feeling it too. Gotta try and maintain a certain level of control until next season.

Hmmm… what to do……? How’s about go karting again? Let’s give Sykart in Tukwila a try this time.

http://www.sykart.com

So for all those interested, let’s hear what day and times work for you. Just to toss out my preference:

Saturday Nov 12th or Saturday Nov 19th; sometime during the day, maybe around noon. That way if we wanna go get something to eat afterwards we can.

So whad’ya think? Who’s interested? If you are then lets hear from you, or if you know of a better activity better suited for the Z’s & G’s when it’s cold and wet outside, let’s hear that too. I'm cool w/ almost anything as long as it involves driving.

I am going to Whistler for the weekend of the 19th. Also, a friend of mine going to visit me from Europe so I will be out till the 27th. Do you guys maybe want to do it on the weekday like we did last time before 17th or after 27th? I am open to suggestions.

Sunday! Sunday! SUNDAY!!

Yeah, Sunday would work for me. I'm okay w/ some weeknights too (not Monday or Friday).

I figure we should try and do this before Thanksgiving cuz afterwards everyone will be caught up in holiday activities that we probably won't get an opportunity until next year.

If anyone out there is interested in meeting up to do some go karting or just hang out w/ some Z guys, just reply to this post so we can see what size of group we're dealing w/. If we get enough people we might be able to get a better deal on a weeknight.

Weekday would work for me...

If it isn't too late, then maybe I'll bring my son along this time as well (he took the Sykart kids school last Saturday).

But now that you mentioned it..... what were you thinking? Seattle-to-Portland? Vancouver BC to Vancouver WA? Best time around the Cascade Loop?

Even though it sounds tempting - racing on public roads is not for me anymore . As far as Sykart I am in for a weekday too. I should be open Monday the 14th - Wednesday the 16th or after thanksgiving.

Crap, I can't on the 20th. I thought I would be available after thanksgiving but now I found out that I should be available after 27th. So if I won't be able to make it when you guys go I hope you'll join me for another round later.

Whew..... back!

Looks we never agreed to a time. The 20th sounded good, but I guess it might be too close to make some people's schedules.

Should we aim for a week night sometime after Thanksgiving? I'd say the 30th of this month. How's that sound?

If we can get one or two more approvals for that date, I say we do it. Anyone else?
