John,

Sometime this year you shoud get a group of us together to go up north for a run up and down Chuckanut Drive. A buddy of mine has been trying to get me to join him there, so I figure I could kill 2 birds w/ one stone. Never been on it before, but I hear good things. Plus I'd like to see how someone familiar w/ it's twisties runs it. Hopefully I can keep up w/ you for more than a couple of seconds.

Chuckanut is narrow w/lots of traffic. My favorite is highway 7 between Eatonville/Packforest and Alder lake. I grew up on Alder lake.

And the road to JRO!!!!!

Due to weather, looks like I'll be staying in town this weekend. I can meet up with you guys after AutoX on Saturday. Is it the Issaquah Krispy Kreme? If so I can probably meet you guys around 4-5 if you're still there...

Just looked a the MSH site and it looks like JRO just re-opened today. I was hoping to go down and take one last run on Hwy 504 before it opened. I was down there a couple of weeks ago and I think I was just starting to get it (been down there a total of 7 times now, 4 w/ the Z) it's a lot to memorize though.

Should we get a bunch of the heavy footers together to try Hwy 7 sometime this year?

Come down to the practice. If you bring your comp tires I'll bring mine and we can swap cars for a couple of runs. We can even try swapping tires on our cars in the PM session to test different setups, if the day isn't too busy. I'm not planning to bring the comp tires out tommorrow but I'll go through the trouble of bringing out the trailer if you're up to it.
