Default Is it time for a NW Z/G meet?

Summer's almost here, days are getting longer, weather is getting warmer. Whad'ya think?.... Is it time to plan an event where our Pacific NW automotive community can meet up? Let's hear who's up for it and some ideas for where we can go and what we should do. Let's try not to get the local law enforcement involved this time , or if we do, by invitation.

I wouldnt mind meeting up for an autocross event and gettin some food after. It would be more fun to meet up and get the chance to drive aggressively instead of just cruisin around. Well, whatever it is, i guess im down. Count me in

+1 to autocross. Never done it, but I really would like to. I'd be cool with anything, though.

How many BEAC people do we still have on this forum? We can do a practice day, but we just have to do it leg'it. Another option is we can plan on meeting at one of the WWSCC or SCCA events.

Would you guys be interested in a BBQ at the shop? I've been actually wanting to do this since I haven't met many Z owners in the area. Let me know what you guys think!

Hova

P.S. Oh wow I haven't been auto-xing in forever!!! I may have to do that....

I can take 2, but I'll most likely have at least 1 guest for each practice I attend the rest of this year.

I'd rather see a big Z/G meet planned. The usual stand around, look at cars, shoot the shit kinda meet...

I can take 2 also. Triple8Sol, we should talk to Dan (of the G35 faith) to see if he would be willing to take 2. BA Cutler and Lateapex may not be able to make it to many of the practices this year. If I'm wrong, please correct me guys.

The Subie guys will be out at this next practice in full-force w/ quite a few of their number will be there, from what I can tell. We just had our BEAC school and there were quite a few Subies in attendance. It seems that the word is out on the NAISOC NW forum about this upcoming practice. I'll be bringing my R-compund to this up coming practice. Gotta represent, ya know.... even though I'm running Stock.

Madmax, PDXRacer... I could use the help, interested?

That sounds like a cool idea. I've been down to World Once once before to buy Motul brake fluid and take a look around. It'd be great to meet you guys. I know you guys do a lot of stuff for Subarus, I'd like to see what you can do for Nissans.

Suprisingly we've been doing a lot of SR20 swaps. Not exactly Z's but still Nissan Anyways were no strangers to the VQ engine. We've done a G35TT and other VQ mods. I would love to build up a local clientele. Anyways I'll see what I can do. I would rather do it when the stupid weather gets better. Would you guys like to make this a Z only meet or maybe a few other cars? It seems to me that the Z/G population in Washington isn't a big number... But anyways let me know guys. I need to do an Auto-X though... Time to buy a helmet

I'd be up for coming up to seattle for an event provided it was on a friday or saturday (that way I can stay the night without having to skip out on work).

I would if I could, but the next four weekends are taken for me -- two of them will be in Packwood...

This BBQ at W1 sounds pretty good. Would the guys from the Oregon area, BC and eastern WA be up to that?

I also like the idea of a Mt. Rainer drive. A place where caravans from the local areas can converge to.

There's also a drive down Clearwater Rd, one of the Destination Highways, top picks:

I'd definately be up for it, but as I said it'd be best for me if it fell on the weekend.

I'd be interested as long as there were a few Z's from Portland heading up together.
