I would hope that there would be more of a turnout then 8... Any word from the other forums? Please pass this along to other 350z/G35 forums that you guys know of.

I might be able to make it down if it's in the afternoon, so something like 1pm or later. That is, if I decide to skip AutoX...

I would suggest posting in the NW section of g35driver as well, to get some G's there...

Default Z Gathering

Either the 17th or 24th are great dates, lets make this happen sooner rather than putting it off. We can always setup other event dates.

There is another event at SIR. The SOVER races set for June30 thru to July 2. The Z club has special ticket packages for their car coral. I have attended this event several times. They'll allow you to drive your car on the track, it more of a parade but it two lapse. Last year, the Z's were behind the Corbra Club. They have the habit of stopping several times on the track allowing a great racing gap it which they can show off. This allow the Z the same opputunity too. I was luck enought to be the first Z. But they don't allow passing.

I believe me posing on g35driver would go against the vendor rules since I am not a vendor on there. Can someone post it for me? I would really appreciate it. Looks like the BBQ is gonna be on the 17th!

I use to be a member of the NWDE (Northwest Datsun Enthusasts club) and we would go down to the SOVREN races on the 4th of July weekend to do the parade lap around the track. That's pretty much what is was. Even if you came to a slow crawl in 1st gear to put a 10 second gap between you and the car in front you'd catch it in 12 seconds. There's a fee too, right? Lots of folks, cool sights and sounds, but not really the place to met and hang with other Z Car owners coming togther for the 1st time.

Triple8Sol - Nope no practice that day. We just had a pretty big one today (ABOUT 60!), I think we're spent for a little while. I could've used the help in "representing". I did alright, w/ the exception of the insane OS/SM2 cars, the only cars/drivers that beat my best time was an AWD Porsche Carrera (ASP), a worked STi and a C6 Z06 (Glen driving). Last year's competition rubber was as hard as a rock, seems that the Hoosiers don't keep well over a year or two.

I get back in on that day. I get into Sea-Tac at 2:30 so I might be able to make it down there by 4-ish the earliest.

Hovan, any possibility in making this a dinner time BBQ? Sunset is at 9PM around that time.

I think I will start the BBQ at 11 and end it around 6 when the shop close. I will see if I can stay till 9. But it most cases, people usually stop eating till 4 but I can always fire up the grill again

Hova

P.S. About how many people are planning to come? Maybe I can do a head count!

Hey everyone. My goal for today is to finalize the BBQ. I am just curious, if I did move the BBQ to the 24th, would everyone that was planning on going to the 17th be able to come??
