I went to a multi-forum meet put on by NWN (bmw, NASIOC, NWN) with my '03, and I was the only Z there! Of course this was when there weren't as many Z's on the road. lol.
My work is sending me all over the place, but if I'm in town when it happens I'll be there.

I dont think that many Z owners know about my350z, or, if they do, dont know about the NW Region forum. Z owners in Seattle don't share the same enthusiam as say, Miata owners in the 90s. I see lots of Zs and usually the drivers dont even wave/flash at your when they drive by. So I don't think there will be another Z meet for this yr.
Gentlemen,
I totally agree w/ you. There seems to be something lacking in our community. I'm inclinde to think that is has something to do w/ our demographic, but the STi guys are the same as us. But when lurking on the RX-8 forums, and the Lancer forums, I see that we are still more cohesive than them. Again, a similar demographic.
So I guess.... the two points that I made just cancel each other out.

I for one say since this is will probably be the last opportunity this year for us to come togther as enthusiasts, we should make our best effort to get ourselves organized, Z's and G's alike and make a specatcular showing at this multi-forum meet. I know I'm not alone in thinking that there should be a better sense of unity in our NW community. This would be an excellent opportunity for us to show our personal pride in the cars we drive. Seems that every so often we need to do this just so we can meet the people that we can relate to in more than just a automotive-enthusiast way.
I know we all know this; but what a great opportunity it would be for those of us that are into modifying our cars to be part of a huge Z/G turnout. The ideas we can share by seeing and experiencing what others have done to their cars in person. You have to admit, there are things that can't completely be conveyed in pictures and typed words when they're displayed on a forum. Whether it's style or performance your after; you get a much greater understand and appreciation for it once you see it first hand and get the opportunity to talk to the owner directly.
I'll be there. I'm hoping to see a lotta familiar faces (even though I suck at remembering names) and hopefully a lotta new ones. Heck... if the guys w/ trailer hitches offer to take turns towing my autoX trailer, maybe we can get one or even two grills up there. No better way of making friends w/ the other forum guys than having food to share once we get to our final destination.

I have two friends who have WRX's, and I am trying to get them to go with me to the October 1st event. (I'll drive my Z) In the meantime, I would be up for any informal meeting of Z's in the area.

Should we meet at 1 or 2 rally points before driving up to Cascade Mall so all the G's and Z's can roll in together? A caravan of G's and Z's is always a nice sight. Anyone from the G35Driver forum know how many G's plan to go at this point?

How about Northgate Mall parking lot (outside of JC Penny)? good rendez-vous point.
Tru-dat. A caravan of Z/Gs always look good. I think Ceresof/Stealthninja can organize the Gs to meet up with us.

Also there's a coffee shop and place to gas up.

So should we say for now:
Northgate mall - Seattle
Alderwood mall - Lynwood
The Outlet mall - Mukilteo
Should we maybe pass on Alderwood and choose one more location further North?
