i have a question, if anyone know anything, feel free to post
i have a skunk2 plenum spacer and cant fit the oem strut bar back on.
does anyone know which aftermarket company makes a taller strut bar?
i've been driving without a front strut tower bar for over several months and now im getting a bit paranoid about driving withouth the strut bar.
any information would be great. thank you guyz...

 

No factory style bar will work with the Skunk. Your only options are the Stillen or Crawford ones.

 

how thick is you plenum spacer? I have the 3/8" MD spacer and with adding washers to the OE strut bar, it fits w/out rubbing.

Too easy to fab up a set of small spacers... Something like whats included with the kinetix v+ plenum

 

Research Before u buy ---If u had , u would have got a 5/16 MD and this prob would never have existed. If need be, put a lump of clay on ur plenum top and close the hood. Open the hood -- measure the thickness of the clay. Thats as hi as u can raise ur stock strut with shims. May work,may not. Then it would be cheaper and better to sell the Skunk and buy a MD

 

ic. i will try using washers and to see if the hood toches the strut bar or not.. thanks guyz
