Default Best Dealerships around Tacoma ~ Seattle

Hey guys, just got a raise and I'm finally back in the market for the Z - just curious who had the best experiences at which dealerships around here.

Thanks!

Eastside Nissan, ask for Seth then lowball the hell out of him to show him who is boss! works everytime, they just care about cranking out volume, not too worried about price like other dealers.

Hmmm maybe I should've tried that approach.

But the guy was like totally . . . . . like . . . . . I dunno acted like a ***** and tried to act like i didn't know crap about cars and tried to sell me an automatic and was real sleezy. Yes I'm talking about Seth.

My opinion of Nissan Eastside . . . -1. They gave me horrible treatment.

If you're looking used see if Infiniti of Kirkland has anything. Their used car department has the coolest salespeople I've ever met at a car dealership.

Everett Performance Nissan gave me a good price on a 2007 Enthusiast - 6spd w/Carbon Silver, mats, trunk mat, and aluminum sills on the first day of April for $100 over invoice. Asked for Jon Seely - Internet side. They beat a Nissan of the Eastside price by about $300.

I've heard good things about Everett. But again, the Infiniti dealership had the exact car I wanted man (everything in my sig except for the performance mods, so all the audio stuff ) I felt so good with the keys.

You need to tell them up front what you want when you go buy a car , if you go to a dealership and have no idea why you are there , I'm sorry but you are asking for it... I bought 2 brand new Nissans from Seth and he even gave us a fiberglass color matched tonneau cover for our 06 Titan for cost. Oh yeah and we got the Nissan running boards for free! Whats wrong with automatic? the new ones are great and some of the fastest turbo Z's are auto!

I have no complaints from my dealings with Eastside, got more than I expected from our 03 Sequoia we traded in (it was paid for so there was no negotiation or working the balance into the price of the new car) Ultimately every deal is up to the GM at the dealership so if you don't like the salesman there are a ton more there willing to make the deal. Don't let one bad experience from 1 guy ruin a great dealership, BTW the parts manager went out of his way to help me research my BBK upgrade for my Z and even overnighted parts twice at no cost to me!

Also I would like to add the parts dept. also mentioned that if you really want to know alot about a G/Z or enthusiast type car before you buy go talk to the guys in Kirkland Infinity I guess there are some(parts and service) guys that really love these cars there and have a wealth of info on them , maybe more than the sales people.

I got mine from Nissan Eastside (Bellevue)...I had shopped around and found the lowest price, then went to them - they price matched w/out fuss.

Great to hear. The problem was I DID know what I wanted. A used Z under 25K, manual only.

Guess they couldn't match it.

There's nothing wrong with Auto. I hate driving Autos. Wasn't looking for one. The very fact that I told them specifically I refused to buy an Auto should have meant he shouldn't bring it up to begin with.

I don't get it . . . . you had a good experience with them and I had a negative one, I got the vibe he tried to rip me off, I'm just trying to let the OP know of how I was treated, if you got good treatment I'm happy for you but don't get upset because I'm not feeling the same way.

Well, they were given the "opportunity" to bid a price up front. I went or sent internet best price request to the following:

Burien Nissan - email reply at $500 over invoice.

Eastside Nissan - email was sent and I then I had to "bug" them a second time. They would not at first, give me a internet best price, and did the usual tap dance about "give us a call, and I will be able to discuss your needs in person... Finally got them to put something in a email response at $400 over invoice. Now I get spammed by them about twice a week for "deals", etc.

Karmart Nissan - email reply at $700 over invoice. They too, are spamming me with "deals", etc.

Everett Nissan - email reply and a written sales quote at $100 over invoice. Also I did pay a little less in sales tax (King vs. Snohomish Co.) too.

Look, maybe Eastside might have beat Everett by $300 under their quote, but you're beginning to cut into the dealer's holdback (2% to 4% of MSRP). I took the tack of one "no haggle" pass through four dealers and they all got a first crack at a best price quote. I felt that Eastside was hedging and expected me to come in for the "sales pitch".

Ok then 1. if they didn't have it, you know the next step... go to the next dealership that does.

2. I'm not upset bro LOL you just continue to bash them from one experience you had that didn't go the way you wanted because they didn't have what you wanted, seems like he was trying to sell you an auto because thats what they had at the moment I wouldn't hate on them just because you didn't give us correct info. But to each his own.

Chuck Capps at Advantage Nissan in Bremerton is in charge of their internet sales. Know what you want to avoid the sales stuff and you can comparative shop for invoice plus on-line or by phone.

They also do many extensive engine mods for Z's there, even superchargers, and maintain manufacturer's warranty. The service deptartment for Z's excels.

He also tried to sell me a Nismo CAI and Exhaust telling me it will provide gains of 25whp.

It was funny when I just said "independent dynos verified that the stock airbox + K&N filter produced on average more power than any aftermarket CAIs, and that the Nismo was just a re-badged AEM CAI.

Schucks or any local auto parts store.

Either K&N drop-in, or get the almighty Popcharger.

-1 to Performance in Everett. They were trying to sell me what they had on the lot, not the car I wanted and had a few "mistakes" which I doubt were honest.

+1 to Campbell Nelson. Talked to Dino Tukes on the phone, quoted me a great price on the color and trim I wanted over the phone and had it to me the next day.

Steer clear of Infiniti of Fife. Very poor sales people.

I was looking at both G35 coupes and Zs they had, and they were just terrible to work with. Maybe I just got unlucky with the people I was dealing with, but I'd never go back there.
