The ONE, the ONLY, FINAL Spotted Thread
Some debris slashed my tire on I5 this morning. Had to change it in the middle of the freeway. Not even a single cop showed up to pull over beside me for safety. When you need these bastards they are there to catch you speed, but no help whatsoever. Seattle -Everett was a mess. Stupid people with no driving skills.
Situations like these are what AAA is for.
There's in a weather emergency going on, so the world can't revolve around you right now. Besides, all the cops are busy stuffing corpses into body bags on Capital and Beacon Hill right now.
I can fully relate to his frustration. it's not a weather emergency. not many cities or areas get completely shut down like this due to a little bit of snow and ice. people in the pacific nw cannot drive for $hit in winter.
people seem to gamble around here and do not prepare for the winter time at all. then they take stupid routes or drive in areas their car isn't capable of getting through, and make life miserable for everyone else just trying to get around. I posted some related vids about some of the failure going on last night lol.

Jesus Christ - this post just irritates me for some reason.

I was pulling people off the ditches last night so I could see them slam on the brakes and ditch their cars again in the next one! What pisses me off is that the debris that slashed my tires was a broken link of a tire chain! I will pay $200+ now b/c some dumb drive could not put on their chains correctly! I put 200+ miles in the snow since last night! Not even a single problem! So yes it does come to people's skills, manners, courtesy and so forth! WA drivers are not the best!
If you want to see NO COURTESY on the roads, try driving in Asia or the Middle East some time. WA drivers are awesome, as far as I'm concerned, and I've been to just about every state and every continent.

There used to be a time when they could, but then everyone migrated here in the 1980s from states without mountains and the butterfly effect took hold.
The only people who can REALLY drive well in the snow are from Alaska and that's probably because they're usually drunk.

Honestly dude, the Z is NOT the kind of car you want to be driving around in when there's snow and ice on the ground. Anyway, broken chain links, rocks, whatever... road hazards are everywhere, and it's fate that you hit one. It sucks, but that's life. It's not the cops that made your life stink.

Police officers should stop to help. If they have an emergency to get to, I get it, don't stop to help. But if they're in route to a call, their lights should be running.
WA drivers are known to be some of the poorest in the country. It's as if the put on blinders when they get behind the wheel. As for courtesy, I witnessed dozens of cars drive past stranded drivers near my home. I put on my snow gear and walked to go help people get back on the road. I would have never seen that where I grew up in CA.
i have a feeling he wasn't pulling cars out of ditches in the z. Not everyone in here just drives a z. This is hardly a weather emergency, what makes this dangerous, is the drivers trying to do things that they should not. How many videos have we seen of cars sliding down hills?! Why didn't choose a better route? These idiots they chose to risk it.
