I noticed a lot of Boeing employees here.
Did anyone go to the 787 roll out yesterday? I went with my dad... it was great how they had to rent out all those school buses to transport people.
I remember as a kid going to the 777 roll out in 1994 and I liked that one a lot more... they even gave out cooler stuff! (Maybe I just feel that way since I was a lot younger then).

Also, I've heard from other co-workers that it was always a tradition to give good gifts to commemorate the event. This rollout's gifts were pretty sad. The movie real tin contained nothing of any real effort or thought. In the past they use to give one-off minted coins.

And yeah I loved the coins, still have mine from the previous event.
^ if you have the 777 coin, hold on to that. It maybe the last specially minted coin from a new Boeing model and therefore very valuable to some collectors. I saw the movie reel tin going for $53 on Ebay, 16 bids when I saw it last. Makes me wonder if I should sell mine.

I am Rickey, in the Army at Fort Lewis. I think I have the only Stillen Stage 4in the Northwest. I have three years to retire, which I cannot wait and maybe one more tour.
I am thinking about going TT this winter. I cannot find any tuners up North. This time I am going to do it right and save myself the trouble down the road. Look forward to reading the posts
