Default Just saying hi!

Hi folks,

Just popping in as I moved to Vancouver about 1.5 years ago from Northern California. Not much activity in the West Canada regional forum so I thought I'd say hi.

Also wondering if anyone has any good suggestions for good drives near the border. Would be interested in both twisty and scenic. Thanks in advance.

Also plan on checking out Seattle International Raceway, but need a new set of wheels for the track. Thought I was selling the Z so I sold me track wheels and tires a while back

well, it's not too close to the border, but there's a pretty decent cruise to Mt. Baker coming up on the 16th. This was posted on nissanpacific.com

You will find some of the 350z people in Canada @ northwestnissans.com.
The 240sx crowd in "The Lower Mainland" should know of lots of crazy happenings.
I live in Bellingham and have a lot of drives all over the area.

Welcome! Yes the Baker cruise last year was VERY fun, I had a great time even though I didn't know anyone there but that didn't last long.

welcome...

i'm orginally from vancouver... i drive up there at least once /month... you're right the Z scene is pretty weak up there... but mainly its because ppl cannot afford the Z.... at $45K+ its beyond the reach of many enthusiasts... god bless america... but, there are excellent places to drive your Z in lower mainland...

hwy 99 sea-to-sky drive from Horsehoe Bay to Whistler
hwy 7 from Pitt Meadows to Harrison Lake
Coquilhala Hwy
hwy from Port Alberni to Tofino is fantastic
Twsawassen ferry terminal has a long-long straight road

Thanks all. I'll be popping in to check for any upcomming events. Will also check out Mt Baker and the local BC drives. Only one I've been doing is Horseshoe Bay but it does tend to get crowded out there. Great view though.
