Default anyone need 'Stillen' License plate bracket?

I'm in the process of fabricating this for my car http://www.stillen.com/product.asp?i...T01&c=EX&m=all

Since i have extra aluminum stock, I'd figure I'll fabricate a couple more for fellow Z/G owners. Interested? But in order to do this I need 11/16" drill bit (for metal). Anyone has this?

looks like it could fit an 04/05 G35 and 05/06 Z.... and maybe 04... the length can be custom cut anyway.

Count me in. I have a 2003 Z, hope it'll fit.

OK so i finally made the DIY zee-brackets. Took me a while to source a 3/4" drill bit. It should fit an 03-04 based the fact that it uses the 'small' bolt tow hook. I cannot install it on mine size my 06 is a larger dia bolt.

sweeet! Nice job bro, can you make me one as well? Of course I would either take you to lunch or pay you for it.

yup, looks sturdy.
Any idea on a price and how soon you'll be mass-producing them?

or.... maybe the specs on your design so I can build it? bolt size, length, pitch, and length of that square tube should be all the info I need.

I dunno... I bought enough aluminum to make 3 or 4... I dont plan on making any more cuz its a lot of trouble (had to go to different shops to get it cut/drilled/filed)...

a couple of guys will come by to see how well it installs next week... looks like it'll only fit 03-04 G/Zs only because of the smaller thread... if the install works i'll sell the remainding ones for ~$15 and post a DIY

the toughest part is finding a drill bit large enough to bore out a hole.... the cost of the 11/16" drill bit is $20 alone...

alright. I guess it wouldn't fit my 06 anyway. Thanks for the pics though. I can see how to build it now.

I have drill bits that large and access to a pipe cutter to make a clean cut on the tube steel. I'll fab a couple up myself for the 2006 Z

I already made one of these (instructions from other Z site) and customized it for my '06 last year.
Tried selling them locally but people didn't appreciate the cost of materials and labor involved to make them - all SS bolts/aluminum plus cost of bits, etc.

dkorr... let me know if you want more info on '06 bracket

Just a suggestion... I cut a hole in the plastic backing plate so that I could remove the whole assembly with one wrench without taking the whole thing apart. See attached pic
