hmm... my garage isn't like that, you can't get out without a remote to open the gate, but I guess if they are stealing your wheels, breaking into the car to take the remote isn't that hard to do either

they left the lugs, they didn't appear to be heavily scratched or anything. also, they had to have had a truck or van. they made off with 8 wheels and tires. If it was someone in my complex, there will be an opening for a house real soon, probably for real cheap, and will be dealing with the banks not teh registered owner of the house.

Maybe I have found your stock set? Not sure but just check anyway. Can't hurt to poke around the craigslist ads

just sent an e-mail to this guy asking for pics, and to find out which set of stock wheels these are, since mine were the newer stock wheels (06-07)

The problem is that even if people are walking by, you can pretent that it's your car or that your'e helping a friend out by changing his wheels....so in the end, lots of ppl walking by isn't too big of a security for wheels. (there was another 350Z that posted about his OE wheels being stolen while it was in a busy parking garage... )

^ Frist350 and I know (through our experience of swapping into race tires for autoX, not from stealing wheels) that a just one guy that knows what he's doing w/ a decent cordless impact wrench can get a set of wheels off a car and move them to a safe location in under 5 minutes (provided that the wheel security is easily defeated). Quicker if the individual isn't looking to preserve the quality of the vehicle.

i'm so scared of hearing all these wheels being stolen! ... no alarm system will keep them from getting your wheels cuz you're not breaking into the car itself, just the outside ... i want to invest in a really good camera system that records everything that's happening so you can watch it over if something were to happen...

Are they the craigslist post Alvin posted? It saids bfgoodrich. Is that the same rubber you had? "Too big for my Eclipse" reasoning and bad english sounds fishy. Depends on the post date and matching tires, I wouldn't be surprised if they are yours.... Good luck finding them...

the other set that i thought might be mine trying to be sold on another forum, ended up not being mine, so now im back to square 1. This sucks. Hopefully someone finds something out soon, especially since I might be buying a new hand gun this week. Going to go out and try to find a 10mm. Can you say "overkill"?
