new wheels
well, it's time to stop crying about spilt milk. Time to look at the brighter side of things. The rims that got stolen off my car the other day were 2.5 months old. That officially makes them used. Now it is time to look at bigger and better things (or smaller and lighter). Was debating on what rims to get this time around.
The goals:
1. be light weight (my GTS' weighed 26lbs in the rear)
2. be smaller (had 19")
3. be able to handle more rubber (could only squeeze 275's in the rear)
4. willing to sacrafice looks for performance if needed
current top runner is the enkei NT03+M because you can fit 285's in the front, and 315's in the rear. In MY oppinion, they are ugly as hell, but they get the job done. Info can be found at http://www.enkei.com/RacingSeriesSpecs/NTO3+M.html
would also look into some time attacks, but i dont think they come in the right offsets to be able to tuck that much rubber.
Open to suggestions at this time.

depending on how much $$ you have, Buddy club has some super light weight wheels -IIRC they were 15lbs for a 17X9. (w/ 9", you can fit 295's, and possibly wider)
**OR you could buy my Work CR Kai's 18X9.5" +20...

I fit a 285 in the rear, gonna put on 295's when i change.
I think they're like 20 pounds each, they are not forged but they're still pretty light.

Stay with 19's! Weight is not that much of an issue once your TT is in. I'd say stick with offsets in the low 20's so you ca fit fatter tires, such as 265/30 fronts and 295/30 rears.
I'd love to have a set of 18" NT03 or RPF1 for track wheels because they're relative light and cheap b/c they're cast. I just don't think they look that great.
I'd suggest a set of TE35/LE37/CE28/LE28. Light, forged monoblock, , and 22 offset front/rear, and they look great.

Hey i just bought MRR GT1 Black Rims. 18 x 9.5 in the rear and 18 x 8.5 in the fronts. I got them put in and a week later i found out that i needed new tires. So im going to buy my new tires and the same rims but bigger and need to sell these. $1000 mint condition with no scratches at all. Let me know if you are interested.
Too narrow, and the style = YUCK.
RE30 is a great choice too..forgot all about those. SSR GT2 and Enkei RP03 are another couple great options. Oh, and also AME Sports FS-01 and Circlar Spec-R. Not sure on weights, but I imagine they're somewhat similar to the Enkeis you listed, since they use the same proprietary MAT process.
