Default Some Parts for Sale

OEM lower plenum collector
From a non-revup motor. Great condition. I'll throw in the top gasket as well.

Asking $120 shipped, but will do $80 local pickup.

This is a Motordyne piece, but the oem plenum essentially looks like this:

Depends on your wheels. With your GTS, if it's like my GT-V's, it won't stick out past the spokes at all. It'll be flush with the end of the lugholes on the fronts, and stick out just a bit past the end of the lugholes on the rears. Would look sick with your Redline!

They will fit the GT-S perfectly. The short RAYS lugs will end where you spokes starts to curve out from the center. I used to have the black short ones on my gts and it looked really nice.

FWIW - it's super easy to modiy an OE plenum the same way Motordyne does...just shave off the tops of the front intake runners. (It'll take some time to do...so when I did mine, I bought a 2nd plenum to modify so the car wouldn't have any down time...then you can sell your OE plenum after you're done)

Really? I'm going to have to call you to discuss that more. If that's the case, I can just modify this one, then swap it out with the rev-up unit I'm currently running, and sell that one instead...

here's the 2 pages that I posted on...

if you're going to do this, I'd rec'd that you get a 120Vac router...not battery powered. (Or if you know someone that has a mill...that's be the eaisest!)

I did a lot more than motordyne's modified plenum...just shaving off the top of the front runners isn't too hard - maybe 3 hrs worth.

True. I guess if I were to attempt it, I would just remove material from the 1, 2, 5, 6 runners? Sort of flatten out the top?

exactly...in the links I posted, all the wood peices were just to secure the plenum and to make sure I was cutting everything level. Motordyne shaves off more from the front 2, then a little less on the middle 2, and none from the back 2.

Is the plenum aluminum? Could you just take a grinder or dremel with a high speed cutting bit to it? Even a belt sander could mill down aluminum fairly quickly.

yep - yep - yep ...that's what makes this a fairly easy mod.
