How big of a scrap? I have plenty of smaller sized scraps all the time (cutting board sizes)

You know maybe a resin type fake granite (clear) so I can have a lighted bar top? put some flourescent tubes under there to illuminate it? actually a dark gray or black granite would be nice too

 

I don't have any clear or fake stuff, but I do have Absolute Black Granite & Black Galaxy...
