Here's something interesting.... If you take everyone's best time for the evening and average it out; our VQ group did better than the S2K group:

VQ average time: 35.875
S2K average time: 36.033
but if you look at best times:
VQ: 35.677
S2K: 34.785

their fastest guy flies

VQ Group:
First350 35.677
Triple8Sol 35.740
Drivesolo 35.821
Warmmilk 36.191

Average: 35.857

Satan 34.785
Ally 35.751
Zalzal 35.900
El Jefe 35.933
RT 35.995
Goose 36.001
Odie 37.866

Average: 36.033

If you eliminate the fastest and the slowest time from each group, we would still be faster:

VQ group: 35.781
S2k group: 35.916

True. But even the S2K guys admit that Jerry is inhumanly fast. He's a racing instructor for a school down in Cali. As a whole the VQ guys didn't look that bad out there. Who would'a thunk?

yeah - the times that they had been posting were mid 35s...I wonder if they had an off day, or maybe their mid 35s are in warming weather!?

Nice pics & video Triple8Sol. Thanks!

Next time I'll try and bring my bullet cam mounted onto my helmet. Should make for some interesting video.

Sounds good. I'm up for Thursday nights. Not so sure about saturday's though. Yeah, the local S2K group are good guys. To think... if the S2K had been a hardtop, I might've been one of 'em.

I can make sat or sun. Let me know the time. As for thursdays, I might make one here or there. I won't get off work till 8 so won't make it there till 8:30 or so.... Are we gonna meet up this weekend?

I might invite my brother sometime on thursday kart meet. He is heavier but good driver and has Spooned out S2K.

Let's see what the S2K guys decide to do, I think they normal do 4. Yeah, 4 races took it's toll on me last time. But now we know what to expect so we should be able to pace ourselves.

I'll try to make it, and hopefully bring a couple fast drivers along. Most likely going to stick with 2 races, though.
