Yeah, thanks everyone.

Pretty pleased with my dyno, although it seemed to be about 10hp less than what I expected.

Anyone else get conservative #'s, or do I need to start shopping for a different brand exhaust?

their dyno was within 2 HP difference from my last year's dyno numbers from Velocity-8 in Lynnwood (almost exactly 1 yr ago, similar weather, and same mods). But some dyno types are just higher than others...you can also see how there can be a decent difference between the 3 dyno runs w/out any changes (it's easy for manufacturers to choose the right dyno's to compare to show higher gains )

My #'s: 258HP / 237 TQ (SAE corrected)

Yeah, I'm just trying to compare my #'s with other people across the country, which isn't easy. I think their dyno is probably more accurate than most, so I'm just try to see what others may be putting down.

What mods do you have on your Z? That's not the HR motor, correct?

I ended up with 252hp/190 tq (sae corrected)

I'm just wondering if my exhaust or my headers might not be doing what they're supposed to.

My G37S put down 270whp/234 wtq

Pretty much what I was expecting (maybe a little lower than I expected)

we'd probably be neck and neck...just sucks that I have so many mods compared to your OE G35!

it's an '05, so not the HR or rev-up...mods: headers/TP/exhaust, intake/plenum/spacer, pulleys/clutch/flywheel, AAM flash...then suspension stuff. I was around 230HP when I was close to stock.

I was expecting 280whp for your G37, but you know what?....I think most people expect higher gains than they should....I know I did...

Yeah, I'll dyno again after I have more miles on the car, I'm only @ 3500m right now. I'd also like to get a run in when the air is a little cleaner instead of car after car after car of exhaust fumes filling the air.

Still, I'm happy w/ 270whp, when I get bored I'll go FI (whenever something good comes out)

I just realized that this .95 SAE correction is what's messing me up.

A lot of dyno's just leave it at 1...so basically take your # and divide it by .95 to get an idea of what other people may "say" they got.

This gives me 266hp and 200tq, which is exactly what I was expecting. So I guess my mods are working just fine.

If I'm screwing this concept up, someone please chime in.

Here is a goofy *** picture of the owner of the 350z roadster!

His 2nd dyno run:

I think his best run was 293hp / 287tq? SAE

3rd, 4th and 4th on the Automatic right? Not counting the first 3rd gear pull you had...
