I think CF hoods look good on the Z. Especially on black. No need for paint. It won't stand out that much. Just don't get one that's too crazy.

I'd say go with either Seibon oem style or TS style.

I was not arguing that the asthetics of the hood aren't meant for everyone. But to say that there is no weight savings in a carbon fiber hood is not only not true, but just shows the lack of knowledge.

Do most hoods on the market weigh about the same as OEM, sure. Do all? Of course not.

I'll remember who was hating on mastergrade when their new hood comes out next month...

I have a VIS VT hood on my Black G35. The Fitment is great and i get compliments on it all the time. Don't to it for weight savings though, you'll only save a about 5-10lbs. If you don't like the look it's not worth it.
Here's a link of you want to see it.

keep it stock, unless you're getting kitted up. you'll probably end up adding more weight with a kit hence the need for the CF hood to save weight there' lol

Im calling a couple of sponsors, i think i may have to go with the VIS hood because the siebon one wont be in for pretty much a couple of months. I want the OEM CF one.
