Default Drivesolo. Does this look right?

Actually it's all done and it seems to ride fine. But that seems weird. Can find a pic on the net to verify if this is odd or normal. I ended using the strut tops you gave me as they were dimensionally the same as my stockers.
What was the adjustment you had the rears on? I just put them on as it was getting late. They don't seem to be adjusted very stiff anyway.

There's a torque spec on that nut that holds the hats on. Go too much and you might be preloading the spring beyond spec a little. Not a bad thing, but not the best were every little bit of performance counts. Was it torqued to spec?

The rears have this little slot at the top of the shock body. You need something like a 1/16 th allen wrench to adjust it. Make sure to position the slot outwards, else you won't be able to make adjustments.

If your car is still up on stands tommorrow morning, gimme a call (PM-ing you my number) I'll swing by and we'll sort it out.

Ah-ha! I just looked at the pic again and realized what you were asking. You were wondering about all that excess threaded shaft, right? Yep, that is normal. It's like that way for good reason. To get to the adjustment w/ the tool Koni gives you (the lousy plastic dial), it needs to be raised above where the OEM shock shaft ends. Even then, it isn't easy on one of the sides. I think I gave you the modded tool, w/ the extension, it makes it a little easier. I think I still have this old 5/16 alen wrench I ground a slot into to act as an extension. I'll look around for it and if I find it, I'll bring it to the meet.

Thanks for the confirmation. I was going nuts. Car is all done and assembled.

I got the front adjusters but with the strut bar, it's impossible. So I either remove the strut bar mount or fab up another adjuster. Something like a long tube that has the end flattened to fit over the Koni adjusting tab.

I can make an adjuster for the rear. Thanks for the size though.
