Default Selling Stillen SC

I'm selling my Stillen SC with the Competition package, hood, and strut tower brace (this strut is made to clear the SC). I have 5,000 miles on my motor and so the sc has a few miles less.

I understand I haven't been on this forum too long but I wanted to sell it locally first. Just in case: I went to the dyno day at the Drift Office and the guys who showed up have seen my car. It's the silverstone roadster with the Visage body kit and AP Racing Big brake kit. I met Patrick and a few other guys there.

Below is stillens cost.

This is for the Rev up Motor 05-06.

Stage 3 sc: 5869.76

Competition package: 445.00
I've had this package added on a month ago.

Series 1 FiberGlass Hood: 674.96
You will need this hood for the SC.

Strut tower brace: 238.16 (on sale now for 185.76)

The Competition Package comes with a 7lb pulley, reprogrammed timing control box and a fuel pump (fuel pump was not used, brand new).

Total comes to 7227.88 or 7175.48 (w/strut brace sale price)

I'm selling for $5700 for everything.

Out of curiosity, what were your numbers from dyno day?

I took my car to the bmw dyno day in Kirkland just last Saturday and it is at 303 whp and 280 torque. The problem I had was, this guy told me to step on it at 2000rpm and I believe it should have been at 3000rpm. At least that is what they had us do at the Drift Office. I suppose that's the difference between European and Japanese vehicles.

I remember meeting you at the DO dyno day. Good luck with the sale. For those that haven't heard a Stillen S/C before, it sounds insane at WOT. Here are a couple vids of my old Stillen setup on the dyno at 8-Velocity.

How come you're selling it? Just curious, I don't know much about the Stillen SC's.

Z33: Yeah, the number is pretty close to what it should be. The compression hasn't been lowered in my car yet. Not sure if this makes a difference in the whp numbers.

Triple8Sol: How's it going Patrick? Are you getting ready to ride or have you been riding your bike?

jjaujou: The reason I'm selling is because I'm looking for either more whp (500+) or I may be doing something else for a project car. The only down side is, I love the sound of the Stillen SC and the power is great, but I'm HP crazy. If I could keep the SC and have the whp I want I wouldn't sell it.

The Stillen SC is perfect for someone who wants a bit more WHP without sacraficing anything else or having to spend more money.

Yup it sure is. The guy that was taking the readings for the dyno had to cover his ears with those big head sets.

One things for sure, they hear you coming.

No offense, but I really think you're pricing is way too high. New Vortech's can be had for $6k and they produce much more power. GL with the sale, though.

If you actually read what I wrote up on top there, it states how much Stillen sells the Stage 3 for and it is less than 6,000. I also broke down what Stillen sells all there parts for and if you add it all up it's over 7,000. I would appreciate it if you looked at the complete break down and how much I am actually selling it for. If you actually took all the extras, including the competition stage, I would have sold that kit for under 5,000. Also, there are no tax involved nor are there any shipping costs.

I understand what you're saying, if it were just the supercharger alone. The price includes the full Stillen Kit up to the competition stage, the hood and the upper strut bar. In this kit, there's the 7th injector, intercooler, 8 psi pulley, a brand new unused fuel pump, etc etc.

If it were just the supercharger itself, I would have dropped it lower. Really there is no point for me to sell the SC by itself. Anyone who purchases the Stillen SC must have the hood also. Not so much the strut tower brace, but I don't feel a need to keep that.

Just a note (repeat): You can't use the stock hood nor can you put any kind of strut bar with the Stillen Kit.

As far as power output, I can't agree nor disagree. At the Dyno day at Drift Office, I had one of the better power with the SC set up (not turbo mind you). I'm not trying to sell this to someone who wants alot of hp and again, if you read all the threads, you will see that I wrote "The Stillen SC is perfect for someone who wants a bit more WHP without sacraficing anything else or having to spend more money."
