So here it is: I've been contemplating parting out all the parts and selling the Z. I've been looking at NSX's lately and checking out aftermarket parts for these cars.

What do you guys think?

It depends on what you have that you'll be selling, if I want it, and if I can get it for cheap.

I work at an Acura dealership and we have our own private aftermarket website.

Check it out for any parts, my guy will beat almost any legit deal!

g35blondie: You must work for the Lynnwood Acura. I bought an 06 RSX type S and an 06 TL from there couple of years ago. I didn't know comptech was still available for Acura's.

Let me rephrase the question:

Should I keep the Z or should I go with the NSX?
What would you choose if you had a choice?

I love the way NSX looks, it's true sports car with mid-engine, style and looks of an exotic. On the other hand, it has moderate power and aluminum body witch is expensive to fix. I would get one if you can afford all the stuff you have to do to make it faster than your stillen S/C Z. But, by looking at all the stuff you put into your Z, you can probably afford it. I would also avoid old ones.. What year were you thinking about? I think there are some trany problems with 94 or older model?? I've always wanted to get a MR.

i'd go for a 98 NSX T, 3100 pounds and 290 horse is nice. the lack of torque kills though (silly honda) if i had to pick between the 2 cars i'd say NSX cause none of them are around (i see at least 3 Z's everyday if not more.) but i would rather have a supra over both.

Yeah, i've always wanted a mid engine car but can't afford the Ferrari's and Lambo's (maybe I should sell the house and use the shower at my sis's house, then get a supercar).

If I decide to go with the NSX, it will be a TT, lowered compression with the GT widebody kit and some big azz wheels (plus all the other nick nacks like the antennae jack ball). Checkout the kit on http://www.grounddynamics.com/Templa...ubFolderId=468

I'll get back to you on this as soon as I come up with the plans to part the car.

I think you should keep your Z, get M3, RSX-7, and NSX so then you dont have to think about buying another car!!

Come on Slaw, you know how I am. I buy one thing, spend money on it, then get rid of it. I did see an older Ferrari 348 GTS for 50,000. That might be a fun project car. The parts got to be murder on the wallet, may have to sell the house LOL.

Thanks everyone for you're input, minus Zslaw - HAAA j/k. Just like all of you, I may be leaning towards the NSX (the scale is getting heavier on that end). I should be making up my decision here soon. Hmmmm, maybe a 3rd gen Rx7.

I'll know by Friday what I will be doing. Still leaning, leaning, leaning towards the NSX.
