Hi all,

Anyone recommend a shop on the eastside (Bellevue, Redmond, etc) that's a reputable alarm install shop? I'm considering getting one but don't really want to go the Car Toys route...

do not let car toys install.... they F'd up my last car and a few friends of mine as well....

Most of the installers at Car Toys are fine, but like any large company there are going to be some that just plain suck. You need to find one that is good and just request that they work on your car when you take it in.

 

as far as i know the only good one in the area quit... because he was fixing all the other d-bags mistakes... his name was adam... duno the last name... i ended up paying dam near a grand for an alarm in one of my old cars because they broke soo much ****... and they are the slowest company in the world for filing claims.... after a year i just gave up

 

It's not eastside, but you can always hit up VTR in Everett. They are having a bbq tommorow. Good time to check them out.

you could get a quote from benchmark motoring. They are the only audio people I would trust for an alarm install around here. They are expensive though.

I actually spoke with Benchmark a while back when I went to Magnolia and found out they don't do car stuff anymore...they recommended them. They seemed like a reputable, higher end shop. I'll do some research on them.

 

They are the best around as far as install. But it will cost you 3 times the amount over going with Pete...

 

Just wanted to post an update. Just had a Clifford Matrix 50.5x installed by Pete today. Pete appears to have done an awesome job and took the time to walk me through what he did. Thanks for the recommendation guys!
