You willingly defrauded your employer so your friend could sell his car. Idiot.

I don't see how he ripped someone off. The car was inspected and aside from those $5 to free fixes that any tech can do in an hour's work, the car is 110% mint. It's been babied for at least since I bought it so the next owner will have a mechanically and great looking ride. The deal, although made easy through Bryce working there, was in no way ripping either side off. I only got $15.2k for the car even though they'll sell it and make a couple grand on it. But I was ok with that since I didn't have time to sell it myself. If you think about it it's a win win situation, the dealership fixes the little things here and there for an hour's work and make 2k total on the deal (or more).

STFU. You think these are free fixes?

1. Both front tires on backwards(the directional arrows backwards)
2. Spare tire and tools missing from trunk
3. Passenger side skirt by the door came off
4. Missing front driver side strut mounting bolt
5. Passenger side taillight out( thats on me since we swapped lights)
6. Both rear mudguard bolts are gone.

And if you guys thought it was "win-win" why this;

"And as soon as he turned around I told him "GOTCHA B***h" he didnt here me say that but it was pretty funny."

You and your friends are stupid pieces of ****. Sorry.

Let's just say, it's not fair to whomever they will be selling the car to, IF you haven't replaced the car with the original stock parts that it came with. Also, the half azz job you guys did is no better.

Put yourselves in a situation. What if, one of you bought something and later found that it was not 100% what it was suppose to be. Basically, you got screwed and you can't do a whole lot about it (in some cases).

I hate dealerships and the sells ppl in the car industry (most not all). It's all about lies to get a sale.

KARMA: Some think about it, some don't, but it happens to everyone.

Wow, you're a ****ing douche-bag. How are these big problems

1. The tires had 90% thread left, I just mounted them on incorrectly the day before I took it in, takes 5 minutes to swap.
2. How many people don't get the spare tires and tools when they buy a USED car.
3. Passenger side skirt needed a few more bolts to be more secured, probly costs $5 or even free if they have some bolts laying around in the shop
4. 1 bolt missing, woopiedoo let's go get another for 50 cents at Nissan
5. 1 taillight bulb (a 194) that costs $1.50 at schucks is out...wow! We can't afford THAT!
6. Oooh, 2 more bolts missing, wow, $3 extra for us to spend on bolts!

Looks to me like you're the idiot here since it only costs a few bucks to fix, theres nothing else wrong with the car. Listen up man, no matter what the dealership will NOT lose money on the car. And yes if I was a buyer for this car I'd be happy - the exterior is as mint as can be for a 5 years old used car. The engine runs strong - the car was well taken care of. Those small things are nothing that could effect the car's overall condition.

lol. You just have no concept of morals do you? If I sell something to someone, I try my best to make sure everything is clean and in order. You and your friends pride yourselves on all the **** that they didn't find.

You sound like an idiot, not only for this but for keeping your car for a year, losing money on the **** you did to it, then buying an evo?

Life's going to throw a massive curve ball at you one day just because you are you. Have fun.

shut the **** up and leave alvin and bryce alone. I was going to do the same thing for him as well, but my dealership doesn't keep cars around the 17k+ range...otherwise I would have done it so he could get the tax credit on a trade in as well. I would have helped you in purchasing a car as well till you started to post this crap. It's called a favor and helping a friend out. I think everyone in the NW forums knows that I would give the shirt off my back to help not just a friend, but any kind soul. If this is the worst thing to have coming back at you in the karma world, I would say that he is doing a whole lot better than a lot of people. Let's see, where to start...I stole a couple cars when I was a kid, I killed people in Iraq, I used to do a lot of drugs, I speed, I swear at people (both to their faces and behind their backs), I sleep with married women, have keyed people's cars that I didn't like (not just hating on a nicer car than mine) etc. etc. etc.

lol you sound like Mr. Know-it-all right? How the **** do you know what has happened in MY life? Psh. You don't even know me so don't act like you do *******. I lost money? lol yeah I lost 3k total on my car and why? Because the Z depreciated faster than a falling asteroid. Who cares, I got a car that's newer, under warranty, and in showroom condition.

Oh ok so I left a car that I was unhappy with to get one that I really love - Wow, seems like the biggest mistake in the world

Thanks homie, he's just another lonely dude with no friends are just bored at home having nothing to do and starts acting all tough and badass cause he thinks he's cool. I have no idea how bringing in a car to a dealership with a few things that takes no time to recondition is "immoral" haha. You know if I had a curbage on those wheels it would probly cost more time and money for themt o fix. I guess if someone turned in a car with wheel curbage that's also immoral

Hey Tubbs, it's the dealership's responsibility to inspect the car they're buying. Those fixes won't cost them anything. They inspected it AND took the trade, how are morals involved here? They didn't scam anyone. It's a used car, not EVERYTHING will be there, it's quite simple really. The dealership liked the price, those few little missing pieces won't effect anything or anyone. A dealership EXPECTS to have a few missing things here and there when they offer you a price, which is why they usually give you LESS than trade-in value.

OMG I have a stain in my carpet! I should fix that before I trade it in!

OMG! My car has 150k miles on it, I should put a new motor, transmission, and rear-end in it before I trade it in!

Those are almost as dumb as what you said Tubbs...think about it. It's called reconditioning. All dealerships take that into account when they give you a number on a car. Do you disclose everything to a dealership when you trade in a car? accidents, sex stains, normal stains, paint chips etc...No, nobody does. I have been doing this for over 3 years now, and am yet to find someone that will tell me everything up front that is wrong with their car. When someone trades in a car, that means typically that their is something wrong with it, they hate it, or need something bigger. The first 2 reasons, the customers will never tell you that, because they think you will give them less for their car. Just some food for thought

Oh ya, and this is mighty nice of you guys...

"If the next owner of that car hits this forum we can help him out a little to get his car square."

Swell peeps you all are.

Getting a little out of hand here guys. If you have an opinion, that's great, but lets keep it toned down.

It's true, it's not the individuals fault that dealerships will take in just about any car in almost any condition, it's the dealerships that like to sell sell sell to anyone they can convince to lay down their cash.

But at the same time, the car could have been put back together a "little" better. I'm speaking as a consumer. Been in a couple of situations where the dealer took in a car and I bought it used and there were a few problems that were not little problems. These problems were not easily detected by a simple inspection. Not saying that your Z was in this type of condition.

Quote from SlowZster: "All dealerships take that into account when they give you a number on a car. He does have a point. Not many truly honest human beings on this Earth.
