Default rant

soo i have a week off work... between jobs... and im trying frantically to get my car taken care of as i have a laundry list of parts and things that need to be taken care of before HIN... today im out getting quotes since im not finding much help and the help that i am finding for example stage perf... i have a bad rep with and i dont even really want to go there... soo im out looking around and i stop in at bel red auto rebuild... (they have done alot of work for me in the past) and i was quite suprised i didnt recognize anybody in the front room there... and i was treated like absolute SH*T.... as if im another punk kid coming in wanting something cool done to his car... which i may be

the lady behind the desk who first appears somewhat cute starts asking me quiestions such as what kind of kit and what is it made out of ect ect... she then asks me if i bought the kit from them and i said no... shes asks where i got it from and me being a smart *** i said Japan... she asks who i got it from in japan.... does this really matter? i want a quote not a background check

so finally i leave still not getting a quote... all she would say was the last one they did was 15 thosand dollars....

ya this may be pointless but i would like to steer everyone possible clear of ever stepping foot on their property... they are true *******s

Bel Red auto rebuild are in tight with Nissan of the Eastside, they are total morons... do not go there ever again! LOL. They painted something for me and it didn't even match, whats funny is they had the entire car for 2 days and they still couldn't match the paint to the rest of the car .. idiots..

Have you tried Phantasy Kolors? All they do is show cars. Many of there cars have been in magazines and featured at SEMA.

can't remember the guy's name. He is the one that does the estimates though. He knows my dad (Owen) my old IS300, and my brother's old modded WRX that got totalled and they bought for the owners son. I do remember that he really liked Volkswagens, and had a couple of them. Hope that helps. Call me if you have any more questions.

Default Now I know where not to go but.....

I need to know where I can take my Z for a good dyno tune. Getting ready to install the SSV and probably a Vortech later on. Someplace in the Federal Way, Tacoma, Auburn area would be great. Any suggestions?

Trying to see how much power you lose with the SSV

commented in your other post. For tuning go to worldone performance (sponsor on this site) for dyno numbers go to just about any place with a dyno. We did drift office not too long ago. I heard bad things about Akido motorsports and their dyno abilities though from my brother.

I did a full veilside 3 kit at Carnutz in Bellevue for 2k, that included fitting, install, paint. They were really good about it, and I have no complaints.
