Painted engine cover
So, just finished this today, went pretty well all in all, if I did it again there are a few things that I would have done differently, masking on the letters is not the best and I would have done more sanding ...
Oh and apparently if you inhale clear coat fumes it will give you the most intense nose bleed ever !!!!

Looks like a good job! What did you use to spray it? I'm getting ready to do mine soon and will have to post pics. Wesco Supply in Auburn quoted me around $250 for the materials, color match, and clear. I then went to the body shop down the street who quoted me $150 for the whole job...I'm going to jump on that!!

All of the paint is Dupli-Color from Shucks, total probably cost me about $60 ...
However, the most pain in the **** part was trying to paint the letters a matt black which turned out to be this textured paint which totally eff'd up the smoothness of the whole cover.
The other thing that was a pain was the Nissan logo delete, had to fill the hole with Epoxy but the cover is made from Polypropelene which nothing will stick to ...
Here is another shot to show how the paint changes under sunlight ...

Thanks for the Photbucket tip!!!! I had to monkey around in there a bit but was able to resize some pics.
Here is my color matched engine cover. I did most of the prep work but Kirmac in Auburn laid down the color and clear....just one more engine mod to do...and the parts are being tracked as we speak, errr type.
