Harness bars are a bad idea. At the minimum you should be running a 4point cage in a street driven car.

Yup, only place I can think of too is Speedware. They do some pretty damn good fab imo.

I've got an AAM 3" single exhaust that I've been too lazy to start a f/s thread about.

Not to change the subject, but I would have to respectively disagree w/ you on that. Depending on the application; a harness bar can be a very good idea in Z (although always a bad idea for a G, aka: Death Bar for rear passengers). For most situations like daily driving and for track days; no, it's probably not a good idea. But for autoX it's excellent at keeping your torso firmly planted so you can maintain exact control of the wheel while cornering and it also improves the seat-of-the pants feel. Much cheaper and lighter than a roll cage. Also a harness bar (depending on the build) is also legal as a stock class mod so it wouldn't bump you into a tougher class.

I still want a 4point, but I can't see spending $900 for one I know that kirk makes one for 405 shipped, but you lose a lot of your travel in your seats. Being 6'5" tall, I can't spare to lose any room.

Nah, just the exhaust. Oh wait, I also have some ill-fitting replica Nismo sideskirts. They would need a bit of work to fit properly, but they've never been mounted and are just sitting in the box.

I mocked them up on my '04 years ago and they seemed short. They could probably be made to fit just by doing some sanding on the insides since the fiberglass is pretty thick. But it wasn't a job I wanted to tackle so I threw them back in the box. And also since each car tends to be a little different, it might fit better on your car, might fit a little worse.

I just bought a full kit off ebay because I wanted the bumper and it was cheaper (for some reason) to buy the kit than just a single front bumper *shrug*. I planned on getting the urethane USDM sides, so when the fiberglass ones weren't gonna work without effort, I wasn't bothered.

I'm pretty decent at fitting up body kits and doing that kindof work and I'd only want to part with them to someone that's the same way. If you just plan on taking it to a body shop and having them do it, look elsewhere. You could potentially spend more money in shop labor making them perfect than you would if you bought the authentic stuff.

I was talking strictly from a safety point of view. Using a harness bar with a racing harness in a car without a cage is a death trap in a rollover. I'm sure there are benefits as far as holding ability for autox or whatever, the question is if you are willing to put your life on the line for those benefits in a daily driver.

No arguments from me on that, yes, I totally agree w/ you on that. It is commonly considered that a harness bar for a roll over incident is considerably worse than having just the car's 3pt on. However in autocross, (I'm fairly certain) that there has never been a case where a modern sports car (key words are 'modern' and 'sports car') has ever rolled over. Crashes into trees and barriers; yes. Engines exploding and cars catching on fire; yes. Even all 4 wheel falling off simultaneously; yes. But never a rollover. It is actually a very common practice in autocross to have a harness bar.

I would like to take yours, I'd prefer a single exit.

Want to trade? Anyone local want to take an Injen dual exhaust off my hands?

Not sure if I'm really interested in a trade. I think I'm plenty happy rocking my stock exhaust.

Sorry, I've been too busy to get online today. I don't really have the time right now to do a fitting up of sideskirts. You can come up and take a look at them if you wish, but I won't have the time to unbolt yours, mock these up and do any sanding to make them fit.
