Default 10mm Spacers

Does anyone have a set of 10mm spacers I could buy/borrow locally? I tried to buy some online, and there's been a stock issue, and I'm uncertain if they'll make it for my track day next week.

Thanks all!

If it's just for test fitting purposes, I have two 5mm ones.

I've got a pair of 5s. I was thinking of getting desperate and running 2 sets of 5s to get my 10s... but that seems a bit... kludgey. If I get really desperate, can i come by and borrow your 5s to run with, or do you not want to be responsible for a big twisted pile of orange metal?

do you have extended studs already installed? because you'll need them, especially on a track

Ya, I have the Nismo 50mm extended lugs on already. Should be OK to 10mm or so. Stocks are 40mm, aren't they?

You're welcome to use 'em. Any opportunity I have to live dangerously vicariously through a friend is fine by me. (I kid, I kid..) Gimme a call if you wanna pick 'em up.

No worries about this. Rahtok is "The Man" when it comes to track time behind the wheel of a Z. He probably has more seat time in his Z at PR & PIR than probably everyone one on this forum combined. He's been rock'n a Z since... since... man... I'm getting old.

Bwa ha ha. I doubt that. Almost at 50k miles on the car now tho.

I think I may have found some 10mm that I can get by Friday. If they don't come in by then, I'll take you up Noel on a driveby to pick up your 5mm.

How many other original owner 03's are still out there tho? I'm feelin a little old and lonely too now.

To clear the set of stoptechs that are now sitting up front. I used to be able to use 5mm just fine, but the new brakes sit out a little further than the stockers, and I need a little more clearance now. 5mm additional should be plenty. Any more tho and I'm going to rub with my 275s up front.

That's what she said.

I mean, that's how you stop a Z from pushing?

I have a set of 10mm H&R spacers for sale. These are the ones with the built-in studs for easy install, and they're hubcentric (unlike Project KICS). Just let me know if you're interested.

Arrgghh! Where were you a couple days ago man? j/k

My new ones just showed up in the mail today. Prelim testing shows that it not only clears the brakes, but I can't get them to rub yet, so I think I'm good.

They were actually Eibachs. Doesn't matter, since they're gone.

The new 10mm worked fantastic. Stoptech + R compound == Godmode. It was a lot of fun -- lap after lap of heavy late braking with no sign of fade. I had a guy in a z06 come up after the first session wanting to know how I managed to pull away from him in 3a/b.

Still can't out accelerate them tho -- might be that I'm to the point of needing a few more ponies now. :P
