That is a pretty sick tank. Can't wait to see when it's finished.

That looks wicked....but tell me about how long you think it will take to build it out & have it running ?

Also what do you expect the end price will be ? I only ask because I was thinking of building one myself also, but not to your extent of custom parts.

Good luck & keep the shinny side up.

hoping to have all the parts in about 4 weeks. take about another 4 weeks to build. guessing the finished value at $35k easily. but realisticly in this market, i will start it at $25 for quick sale.
i am getting such a smoking deal on all the parts, i cannot loose money at all!! if anyone is interested www.roadrunnercycles.com cool guy and if you buy everything from him, he will give you a deal nobody can match. after talking to him on the phone and finding out what he was sitting on in stock, i saved about $5k over what he listed on his site, which still has really low prices, and what i was prepared to spend for parts of this quality.
you could do a bobber with sick brand name parts for like $8-9k easily with him!

reread your question. not sure if you meant how much it will cost to build it or how much it will be worth when done. i will be paying approx. $12,500 for all the parts!!!!!!!!!!! just a couple things i will make like the seat and pipes. told ya i couldn't pass up the deal, lol.

Hopefully I'll have that front I bought fitted by a shop by then. Then, while I'm painting it with your expert tutelage, we can stare at your pile of bike parts.

just try what i told ya. it won't be hard to do. fiberglass is cheap and can always be ground off and reshaped.

man, i have no idea yet. i'm thinking i'm gunna have to ditch the black/ copper wheels. it kind of locks me into a certain style and not sure that style fits the theme of the bike with that tank. if i get different wheels, the is a good chance it WILL be candy green and black! lol

well, looks like i am kind of stuck with the copper spoke wheels now. they are already on their way. i will put it together and see if i can make it work. if not, i can turn around and sell them. seen some other super sick wheels. they cost about as much as my works did though, ugh.

If you've still gotta rock the copper, sub out the green for some red perhaps.

well i have seen samples of the copper now. it is a powder coated candy that goes over chrome. it looks identical to polished copper though. if i do the copper spokes, i will have to do a ton of the other chrome on the bike copper also, which will cost even more. might look good, might look hokey all black and copper. not sure it is a safe bet to do on something i plan to turn around and sell. found some sick billet satin finish wheels that will fit the style perfect for $1300. the different stuff they have for these things makes the designs almost endless!

Get ahold of Bikes2NV if you're looking for powder over chrome. I bought a set of Busa wheels (candy tangerine 3 spokes / hub over chrome with chrome lips) from them and continue to get compliments on them....need to post a pic.
