I drove down to South Lake Tahoe, CA this week and took a couple pics with my old 3.1MP Dimage. I think I need a new camera! The sunrise pic was taken at the rest area outside Weed, CA and the vista pic was taken on a small turnout right here.

 

^^^ Passed by Weed on the way back from California in August The drive through that part of Calfornia was fun! Love going through the mountain with the Z You're making me want to make another drive to California!

 

It was a great trip man, about 14 hours or so on the road. Going down, we took I-5 to Sacramento and then headed east on HWY-50 to SLT. Coming back we took the loop up HWY 395 through Carson City & Reno, and headed back through the forest on HWY 44 to HWY 89 and came back out to I-5 at the base of Mt. Shasta. The roads through 44 -> 89 were f'ing awesome! No cops for 130 miles, hit 120MPH+ more than a few times, and the scenery was just gorgeous.

 

Driving down to Cali next week.
